My problem now is that i finished from a private university with a 2:1 result and am thinking if it's worth it. The name of the coy is sol, marketing position.
pls i need ur advice.

what are u not happy about, salary or career misfit? it depends on what u want. if d job wont tie u down unnecessary it is beta u manage it till beta door opens.

obviously you won't spend much on t-fare, its better you take the job .probably the pay being offered is not encouraging to you . Lots of graduates are under employed and this is gradually becoming a norm in this country. my advice: in the absence of the desirable, make do with the available.

Hello dear its on the quest of a better career u are bound to start from somewhere. Am currently working in a structural firm and I am not doing any thing that relates with my discipline (electrical electronics) but I am using it as a stepping stone. In the next few weeks am off to something better financially and Career wise.

If you are not happy with the job, its better you dont accept cos it will definitely affect your productivity which may led to you being sacked.

You always have to start somewhere.
Starting there doesn't mean you are ending there, rather it will keep your mind productive while you are looking for better opportunities

accept or reject it, ur choice to make, do u know how many pple from private uni are jobless or are doin marketing job the job market is tough place , u must continue hustling, ydae i meet a class mate on my way to eat lunch at work in VI, he had 2.1 finished service oct 2013, the last time we chatted he had given up on getting a job , january 2015 he resumed in KPMG. so u dont hv to giv up, keep hustling

Well, given the above mentioned: It is a marketing position, you graduated from a private university and made 2.1. I can deduce the major reason for your unhappiness is dignity of labor and pay.

If I may ask, were you not aware of the position? Are you taking the job because you really need to be engaged, or to support yourself?

As much as there is a large number of unemployed people in Nigeria, I personally wouldn't subject myself to anykind of job just because I want to bear the working class title.

I was once in this position, some people called me "selective", but I knew what I didn't want.

Not every working class person has dignity of labor. The grass is not always more green on the other side. Everybody's story has a little sorrow.

Job satisfaction is key for me, as it motivates me against all odds. I will advice you resume, and watch it for awhile to determine if you can keep up. Otherwise...

If otherwise, engage yourself in other activities you enjoy doing, develop your overlooked strengths.

You will get better a better job overtime.

PS: why the pregnancy test specifically Isn't suppose to be general test

OP,if it's SOL,then know it's most likely Sterling Bank marketing (DSE) job.They pay about 40k as salary plus commission.After a year,they increase it to 50 cheez plus commission...
If you ask me,I think you should take it.Though pressure dey oh!But all the same,a breas.t at hand is worth the two inside bra.

if u feel worst now than wen u were in the labour market then forgerrit, but methink is an opportunity to use one stone and kill 2 birds cos u will still have time to look around for other jobs as a marketer.
