I am suggesting a 10 year relocation after dredging of niger river and deep sea port in Akwa ibom and Bayelsa Niger delta should be ready to disallow or oil companies without its head quarters in niger delta. First when and if lagos becomes unbearable and uninhabitable for igbos, a new wave of igbo migration will start and Abuja will likely be the benefactor. Out of the 6 systemic banks in the country igbos control zenith, uba, access and diamond bank, this would likely relocate to Abuja and that with their data centers and IT unit necessitating the movement of IT service Companies. The next in line would be the multi-billion Naira telecommunications companies of which igbos chair 3 of them MTN, visa phone and swift, the anti igbophism will force these companies to relocate to Abuja with their billing and switches leading to massive staff relocation with their families, already Etisalat head quarters is in Abuja. Abuja would now be the new telecommunications capital as telecom engineering and service companies will set up shops in Abuja. As igbos leave lagos for Abuja their niger delta brothers and neighbours who are yet to recover from the mother of all betrayal and back stabbing would follow suit because many of them have strong igbo connection in business and marriage. The next industry that would be hit is the music industry, the leading stars of the nigerian music industry, Don jazzy, P square, flavour, Nigga Raw etc would move where ever their major fans and family move to, this would compel new recording companies to spring up in Abuja where folks like Charlie boy is already in the wait. The Nollywood actors ,actresses, producers would also take flight as the major consumers of their products would have moved. The next set of people who will move are the importers, spare parts traders in Ladipo, electronic dealers in Alaba, the clothing dealers in tejuosho ,the generator part dealers in oregun, the inter state transport companies ,the haulage firms, the logistics companies like chisco, ekene, peace, ABC transport, Abex, ifex who might not find it initially easy but can start now to start opening alternative head offices in Abuja and the east, deploying cheaper and cost effective means of moving goods from the ports in yaounde Cameroon and through the eastern ports to the new offices in the east and Abuja . finally igbo owned pharmaceutical , IT companies, hospitals like havana hospital, eko, first consultant ,signal alliance, zinox, cyberspace , computer warehouse, neimeith, ,lagos business school ,orange drugs, techno, slot, should by now be aware of recent developments in lagos . 5 Likes 1 Share |

praise010:everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, but my brother this is too much, Igbo they are going to present deputy gov in Lagos in 2019 haba, can any other tribe try such thing in Igbo land, come to think of it,No other tribe in nigeria that can ever give free hand others like Yoruba's, But you are taking us for fool.its only that we want peace to reign,OK answer this question for me,In Nigeria today name region where peace reign like southwest. My brother this is how Fulani start their vown in Ilorin go read the history of ilorin ,where Yoruba give Fulani free hand later, today do you believe Fulani are now claiming Ilorin that they own Ilorin because they are now ruling in Ilorin. We will not allow what happenen in Ilorin to repeat itself in Lagos lae. |

amosode:I take it from ur response that u believe the OBA should be above criticism. That is so unfortunate my brother. Perhaps if I were his subject I would believe dat too...but fortunately I'm not so I'm at liberty to speak the truth. The oba said wat he said and we all heard and watched him say it. He didn't mince words. He didn't imply either. It was a straight up insult to the sensibility of any decent ibo man or woman. Trying to insinuate that he meant otherwise would be a very uncharitable thing to do. The ibos deserve an unreserved apology, which I believe some yoruba elders have already done on behalf of the oba (who I gather cannot apologize based on traditional custom). However for the interest of peace among us as nigerians, I'm advocating that our ibo brethren should pls "sheath their swords" and let this one slide. Any form of instability in lagos would terribly affect dis nation negatively. A lot of us look up to lagos as a model nigerian state and if it descends into chaos the impact would be far reaching. But we pray that would not happen by God's grace. Let love reign in our hearts for each other. God bless lagos state! God bless nigeria!! 2 Likes |

Election go come and go, we ll soon forget this Ibo talk because PDP was trying to score cheap political points majority of the Ibos I know dont even really care because honestly they have enjoyed Lagos. I blame all these talk on PDP FFK/Fayose Basket mouth mentality, Come to think about It all the Ibo leaders at the Obas palace were clapping after the statement so WTF In as much as I am not ion support of Oba's speech that does not warrant disrespecting the Royal throne or yoruba tribe and regardless of the situation I will still go and eat ASARO @ Mama Ntoro's Shop Play soccer with Emeka,Edwin,............. Drink beer with Chinedu,Okafor,Obi,Nonso,Emeka....... Go to Mass with Stanley,Ejiofor,Nwosu,Obi,Nkechi,Chibuzor.............. Listen to Mass and sermon from Fr John Work with Kelechi,Cynthia,Rose,Ngozi................ And I will not stop loving ADANA 2 Likes 1 Share |
