madamoringo: No he was not afraid to die, it is only a foolish General that will allow himself to be captured by enemy forces when there is room for escape. This is how the game is played for General, you try as much as possible to avoid being captured and escape when there is opportunity. Where there is no way to escape capture then you either commit suicide or die fighting. Only a foolish General will allow enemy soldiers lay hands on him when he is still alive. Ojukwu understood this and that is why he escaped. Ojukwu is the only Nigerian soldier that was able to look Nigeria in the eye and challenge her to her, we are yet to see any other person with such guts. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

logica: Neither. She was in love and swayed by his charm. Bianca is any father's worst nightmare. Imagine being intimate with her father's close friend. A man that was appointed her godfather by her parents, attended her christening and actually carried her when she was just few days/weekss old. C C Onoh was very angry and dissapointed. However, he 'forgave' them before he died and finally agreed to the wedding rites between both of them (after they had their first 3 kids). 3 Likes |
