Hi! I believe the scholarship you were awarded/hope to be awarded is meant for foreign studies and not to be used in a Nigerian university. If that is the case, then sure you can use it in Poland. You can shed more light on the worth, coverage, and duration of the scholarship you hope to be/were awarded to further help you with info. Stay blessed!

In this thread someone said the format for the legalisation authorisation letter can be gotten from a cyber cafe beside the embassy. Please does anyone have this format to share?

Hello guys, does anyone have an idea of how long you will stay in a country like Ghana or Togo before you can be issued their residence permit?

Re: Polish Student Visa by Olamide114: 2:22pm On Jul 31
Why not meet the cyber cafe guys beside the embassy ?
Re: Polish Student Visa by NDNO(f): 3:14pm On Jul 31
Depends on what you are there for, for example in Ghana, once you are a student, you can get your resident permit with your admission letter...don't know about other ways

Re: Polish Student Visa by necz: 5:43pm On Jul 31
Not only German thread. Same with Estonia thread. A guy who went to Turkey to apply for his Estii VISA got asked if he was "Nairaland moniker". The VO then told him that they traced his name to his moniker when he booked VISA appointment.
So you guys better be careful.
Re: Polish Student Visa by Refix: 11:19pm On Jul 31
PrinzC:Its not difficult to craft out.
Address the letter to the embassy.
State the purpose of the letter on the subject.
E.g "Letter of Authorisation".
On the body of the letter, introduce yourself.
State that you have authorised Mr/Ms. XYZ to act on your behalf to legalise your XYZ documents at the Polish embassy.
Write your name and sign.
Nothing fancy or technical.

I read here one can use more than one sponsor.
But I have a little problem, a sponsor of mine wants to only present statement of account even though I have explained everything about the procedure and the need for credit card cert, reasons being that he doesn't make use of an ATM card and wouldn't want to start now to have any kind of card. I told him it was just for a month or two, still adamant. Another is willing to help but won't be able to block the same amount as the first person.
So, can I present a credit card limit cert of one and statement of account of another with their various backup docs like CAC and ID?
Re: Polish Student Visa by blessednendowed: 3:38am On Aug 01
We have said this over and over again. Regardless of what your story is, You cannot present what you like . You MUST follow the requirements else ur visa will be denied.
The polish embassy requires either a Certificate of credit card limit OR payslips and confirmation of employment For proof of funds . Bank statements are NOT allowed.
Pls take out time to read the requirements here :

Bro, I'm using option 2. Please I want to ask the following questions so as to fill the online application form correctly
1. For this item 33 - cost of travelling and living during the applicant's stay is coreved (see attached screenshot below), I chose "by a sponsor" and I'm asked to "please specify". I chose the option "other". Is it the name of my sponsor that I should write in the space provided?
2. Once I chose the option of "by a sponsor", I can no longer choose "credit card". What option should I choose there (as in how should I fill that part?
Please help a brother urgently. Any other person seeing this can also help out. Thank you.

Hi Blessed....i did send an email.please respond
Re: Polish Student Visa by NDNO(f): 11:14am On Aug 01
You have to write the name of your sponsor
Re: Polish Student Visa by blessednendowed: 11:27am On Aug 01
So once you choose that you have a sponsor then for “other pls specify” put in your sponsor so for example father , brother etc , then for means of finances to support your stay select “other” and in the “other” box enter the means of proof of funds your sponsor provided to u so in that “other” box you will type in either payslips and employment letter OR certificate of credit card limit . Which ever one your sponsor provided to u .
Is it clear now ?
Re: Polish Student Visa by blessednendowed: 11:28am On Aug 01
Pls do not advise wrongly. Please read my response above.
Guys u might receive a denial if you do not fill the visa form properly. You cannot just fill in what u like. So be careful .

I'm a high school leaver in search of undergraduate admissions outside Nigeria and my highest level of certification, for now, is WAEC. What countries with full tuition coverage can I apply to? Please help a brother
Re: Polish Student Visa by Nobody: 9:45pm On Aug 01
Scholarships you mean?
If yes, Poland is hardly the place for BSc scholarships seeing that your highest credential is WAEC. MSc scholarships, few and far between. PhD, yes.
You could try DAAD scholarships in Germany. Although it’s been a Herculean task getting visa appointment dates at the German Embassy, your case could be different.
