Your partner can join 6months to the end of your current visa but best advise is before the end of your study

Simply because your Uni will advise UKVI that you have completed your study, ideally you would want your dependant with you before that notification is sent.

Instead of paying for assisted service ,organise your documents in PDF preferably named them in CAPITAL letters and upload in right sessions appropriately when submitting application, during your biometrics you will be attended to urgently why others are waiting on queue to have their documents scanned and uploaded.

The name on her passport. Doesn't matter if she's married or not, until she changes the name on her passport, she can't use her husband's name on her application. The name on the passport is what will be on the BRP.
When she does change her name, only her marriage certificate is okay as proof of name change alongside the new passport in her married name.
