My neighbour had to take away the new parrot he bought last month 2 days ago because of its noise. The parrot enjoyed infuriating a German Shepherd whose cage is just below its own cage. When the German Shepherd barked, the parrot would repeat it like 200 times. At times the poor dog would start crying

Some animal can be so pesky.......i can't stop picturing the dog crying after being taunted by that yeye parrot...lol
but parrots are nice pets sha

I once had a parrot named suzzi. She calls me Niggaaaaaa! And screams Jesus! When she's hungry, she only eats uncooked groundnuts. I left it with my aunt on my vacation only to be told she committed suicide. I was devastated.

They didn't feed it

How much did you buy it? That cage is too small for an African Grey. I'm guessing it's the cage you bought it with.
If you don't get a bigger cage, it might get bored and feather plucking starts.

It's step by step. A friend of mine who bought a grey had the same screaming problem and almost sold it, but later learnt how to handle it.
If it's alone during the day, keep a small radio for it and tune in to a station that plays music well. It keeps them busy and kills boredom. They even learn to talk from the radio. It's screaming because it doesn't like his current "address" lol.

I'm guessing you're trying to get it out with both hands abi? It's best you wait for a while before trying to get it out...maybe a month or more, to allow it get used to his new home.
When you wanna try again, wear thick gloves and offer your hand or finger. There's a 100% chance it will bite, but the glove is there to protect.
When he's familiar with you, you can do it without gloves.

Fear is always the cause of the screaming I remember when I got mine from someone at Victoria island, I took keke along the way home everyone passing by hears the scream and it scared a hell out of them.
It never stopped until it go use to its new environment.
As of the talking as stated on keeping a radio close its cage is good and you could always put it where people sits to chat or discuss.
Mine started talking with the first word "Aku" which is what my kids mostly say to it.
