Look the constitution of nigeria state that at a joint session of both house of assembly to pass any bill , you need just 1/3 of both member of the house . there are 360 members of the house of assembly and 109 members of the senate . 469 members. 1/3 of 469 , is 157 members.
And we have 171 member of both house and we need just 157 members of both house. When President Obasanjo hand over some part of the north of nigeria and when president Yar adua hand over bakassi to cameroon, both houses approve. and they are now in cameroon and chad and there was no constitution review to do that.
Now since we have 171 members of both house and we need just 157 members. We can hand over those land to Benin republic without constitution review just like we hand over to cameroon and chad. And approve with both houses.
I am even sure that benue state may like to join Benin republic. Remember Major Orkar was a tiv man, So we would get more than required to do that.
We just add Ijaw bayelsa and River state areas and if benue want to join us to the map. And it would be constitutional. And we would have 1/3 member as required by the consitution just like President Yar adua hand over bakassi using this same method to cameroon,
It is the same process and we have the require members of both house |
Teachers’ strike paralyses schools in South West From Kunle Awosiyan, Yekini Jimoh, Qudirat Hakeem-Apanpa and Olayinka Olukoya - 26.02.2009
TEACHERS in primary and secondary schools in the South-West under the auspices of EDOLOOKOE, on Wednesday embarked on an indefinite strike action over the non-implementation of the enhanced Teachers Salary Structure (TSS).
As a result, academic activities in the states were paralysed as both the teachers and pupils stayed at home after the expiration of the group’s 21-day ultimatum of February 4, 2009.
Reports from Lagos, Oyo Kwara and Ogun states indicated that the teachers were not at their duty posts in line with the Nigeria Union of Teachers’ directive.
In Lagos, investigation across the metropolis revealed that there was no single teacher in the schools, as students roamed the streets.
At Babs Fafunwa Millennium Grammar School, Ojodu, Ikeja, students were directed to go back home while the teachers gathered in groups outside the classrooms.
Nigerian Tribune observed that most male students refused to go back home, as they engaged one another in sporting activities. The situation was the same at Omole Junior and Senior Secondary Schools and Agidingbi Primary and Secondary Schools, where some pupils were stranded.
The General Secretary of the NUT, Lagos wing, Mr. James Idris, told the Nigerian Tribune that teachers had been directed to leave the school premises.
He declared that it was going to be a total strike, adding that “government is not ready to address the teachers plight.”Commenting, the founder of the National Parent-Teacher Association of Nigeria, Alhaji Babs Animashaun, condemned the attitude of the government towards the teachers.
In Kwara State, the strike has paralysed academic activities in primary and post-primary schools. The teachers stayed at home to observe the NUT directive over the non-implementation of the enhanced teachers’ salary structure.
In Oyo State, teachers also shunned classes. Nigerian Tribune gathered that though most of the pupils went to their various schools, they were turned back as there were no teachers in the schools. In most of the schools visited, only the principals, vice-principals, headmasters and headteachers were seen.
They, however, refused to comment on the strike. Some of the students who spoke with the Nigerian Tribune appealed to the federal and state governments to meet the teachers’ demand so that they could go back to school and prepare for the forthcoming mock, WAEC and Junior WAEC examinations.
Primary and secondary schools in Ogun State were also closed for academic activities on Wednesday following the directive of the leadership of the NUT.
Nigerian Tribune visited some schools in Abeokuta, the state capital and discovered that some of them were under lock and key as the students were sent back home by the teachers.
Some teachers who went to school boycotted classrooms as they were seen discussing the development. Some students were seen roaming the streets as early as 9.30 a.m. |
An igboman man can be president, but with what we see from satellite, alot need to be done, but the problem with igbo is that they do not understand that the only way that can happen is if the Yorubas and bendle and bayelsa (remove Jonathan from the race) are pushed to the Republic of Benin. They do not understand that politics is a game. And this is the way the game of politics with be on thier side.
And over and over again I have tried to show the Igbo the best method for them. All they need to make their dream of president come to past is easy. Support a bill to remove the Yorubas, bendle and bayelsa out of Nigeria.
The constitution of Nigeria requires 1/3 of the total number of assembly men to do that. 109 senators and 360 reps. = 469 . now divide by 3 give , 157.
So we need 157 member to make the igbo dream to become president of Nigeria possible.
Lagos 29 Ogun 16 Kogi 12 ( including Igala area) Bayelsa 8 Kwara 9 Oyo 17 Osun 13 Ekiti 9 Ondo 12 Edo 12 Delta 13 Total 150
If we have rivers state 16 or benue state 14 or niger state 12
I am 90% sure Benue state would vote to join republic of Benue.( Major Orkar was from benue state) And 65% sure rivers state would decide to join benin republic. There are enough member from river state that would vote yes to allow ijaw rivers to join.
This is all the igbos need to do to become president of nigeria, they should support the move to remove.
And we are trying to help the igbos and they just need to support a move to make an igboman replace president Yar adua. Igbo have many men that can replace Yar adua like Senator Ike , Chief Ojo, Orji Kalu and many more. All the need to do is support the move. And the north have no other option than to hand over to an igboman after President Yar adua. If they refuse, I can not see a way any igboman can be president. They may have to wait till 2047 to be president.
enugu state satellite picture. you would see that most part of enugu state have erosion problem. so it is difficult to build a house.
so the so call equity in zone is nonsense. it is not possible. and where are you
And here are the list of men that we need. we need 6 or 7 of them to vote yes, to make it happen. we have 24 on the list. we should be able to get 7 of them. who say it is not possible is a lier. there are up to 7 ijaw men on this list and more than 7 tiv men on the list(orkar is Tiv)
