Today Ikpeba is remembered as prince of Monaco. Okocha is remembered for his skills and especially for promoting a club to premier league as a captain with unbelievable skills. Kanu is remembered for his brilliance in atlanta 96 and his exploits in Europe. Amokachi was nicknamed the bull because of his impact and great strength and was the first player to score in the current champions league.
Because of their exploits, all these players were called pet names in admiration.
Now, kindly tell me what Mikel will be remembered for? Secondly, I am yet to hear that sweet pet name given to mikel in appreciation for his contribution. Mikel is a big name in Nigerian football today and that is a minus for the country.
