Roof has been charged....he already made his appearance in court to have the charges read against him.

What happens next year is the formal trial....where evidence will be presented to a judge and jury....and where the prosecution and defence will argue their cases.

I don't know about the law in Nigeria....but the laws in US and UK usually allow you to be held without charge after a set period of time...not longer than 48 hours. If you are not formally charged....you may be set free.

There is no moral justification why The former CSO mr. Gordon Odua should be detained. Due process should be taken, the ADG do not have right to detained him without allowing him assess to the informations there are accusing him off. This attitude of arresting people out of hatred should be discourage. it is only the court that has the power to declare him as a corrupt official. Who among them is a saint?
