60 year-old Will Connor was a teenager when he met a girl on holiday in Wales. The girl told him her name is “Dabby”. Thereafter, the girl disappeared and they lost contact. Since then (the past 40 years), Mr Connor had been busy searching for the girl everywhere until now. He said the girl even left her purse in his car!

The story began in 1975, when a teenage Mr Connor packed a tent into his new car and headed off for Wales with his best friend Pat Bailey. 'We were about 17 and I suppose we were hoping to meet some girls,' Mr Connor recalled.

'On the last day, we met two girls from the Rhondda Valley, who were staying in a nearby caravan park.

'We spent the day with them and then dropped them back at their campsite.

'As we were driving back to ours, we realized that one of them had left a small floral purse in the car, containing three paper one pound notes and a door key.'
The duo immediately turned the car around and returned to the girls' campsite, but could not find their caravan.
