The Australian ex-model Turia Pitt suffered burns to 65 per cent of her body, lost her fingers and thumb on her right hand and spent five months in hospital after she was trapped by a grassfire in a 100 kilometre ultra-marathon in the Kimberley. Her boyfriend decided to quit his job to care for her recovery. Days ago, in an interview for CNN they asked him:

"Did you at any moment think about leaving her and hiring someone to take her of her and moving on with your life?"

His reply touched the world:

"I married her soul, her character, and she's the only woman that will continue to fulfill my dreams."


So my question is, how many Nigerian men can stick with a woman after such incident ? Most men in this part of the world are always moved by a woman's beauty and not by her character..
That's why you see them cheating when the beauty starts fading...

The question here is how many guys can marry a burnt up sweetheart in Nigeria? ... Since this doesn't match up to something that requires/ deserves survey, I feel MANY guys will ( I've seen some do) but the wife should not expect him to;
1. Take her out as much as before
2. Not have a side chic
3. Show her love as much as it was before the incident on the long run.
If she will be ok with those, oh! She will have a just fine married life.

1. She will be answering His surname
2. They will be living under the same roof , probably on the same bed
3. He will be eating her food
4. She will give him his children and He will give her her children.
Now, back to essence.
The essence af marriage in this case I feel, I've not abused at all wt my line of thought. If we're gon be realistic, Many;
-Husbands have side chic(s)
-Husbands don't take wives to social gatherings as it was before marrIage
Which implies Husbands don't show love to 'em spouses as much as before marriage.

Plus if you're just dating someone it's not like you were necessarily gonna marry them

If we're married already, okay. But otherwise no. Even my parents will force me to break up self. For the sake of my future.

some love wax stronger after years of sacrifice from either of the parties. A lady who has been so obedient and respectful and forgiving and love her spouse with childish innocence even when prevailing conditions should have caused her not to do so may in the long run inspire unimaginable level of affection even to a level of desperation from her husband or vice versa. Extra ordinary love sometimes are built on sacrifice. My wife has tolerated me upon my sexual escapes and belligerent tendencies of old. She did a lot of crying and kept telling me how much she loved me and spoke constantly of her breaking down in misery for the rest of her life cos she wont be able to love again or live a normal life again if ever she lost out of my life. One day it dawn on me I was married to a rare or should I say a perfect woman considering her beauty in character and looks, I held her to my self and cried and begged for her forgiveness. Every bad spirit I had left me that day. I love her like mad now. I can do literally anything for her. It gets to an extent that the lov so transmits to my kids that I cant trash them till thisday when they go wrong as they are all heartbreaking reminders of her. I no fit sleep well or concentrate if my wife is out of my sight for more than 24hrs - I get the scare in my spines like something is going to hurt her. I buy everything I see on the road for her. From biscuits and snails to undies and ladies' lingeries to toys and all! I stay and watch as she sleeps and smile! We chat like two leedl birds unend when we are together and she cuddles in my arms and on my shoulder about all the time that I always wonder who is my real child between her and my children! I linger around her, awake a whole nite waiting for a mosquito to sit on her so I can teach that kinda mosquito the lesson of its life! Oboy see love o! Can u beat that?!
