Well, from experience and as an exposed guy, i do not believe it was before. I think she shouted 'stop' when the D was getting too intrusive and maybe touching her womb. Many off them do that, brother.

If ever he felt randy, he should have sought for a matured and more sexually willing lady. A man of his status should be able to get a lady out there who is predisposed and ready to satisfy his illicit sexual desire, not some teenager entrusted to him by a family friend.

His lack of self control and discipline has landed him in this inextricable quagmire. He would wish he had no penis.

My brother, these really surprised m! You need to see how agape I was reading their junks. I actually can't believe that sane people are trying to vindicate a lecturer that took advantage of a little girl. 18 year old girl is what this lecture who is probably over 50 hoodwinked into having sex with him, 18 years for Kraist's sake! I won't be surprised if he even got the girl under some hypnosis. Shey the girl say she was feeling drowsy? Talk about sopor!

However which way, the man must face the full force of the law, it would be a deterrent to folks alike on this forum and our universities.

If you read the replies to my comments here, you ll know why rape and pedophiles increases everyday. I ll continue speaking out against such evil.

Here is the Narration from Punch

I looked at the fiction, lies too much there, reason like a security men for interrogation.

This girl is just trying to make a show. Why would she constantly be showing off the 'abdominal pain'? she is trying too hard to be convincing. I think she is hiding something.

Shola said on Thursday, July 23, 2015, as her father handed her over to the lecturer, she still did not suspect anything until they got to around Maryland.

For him to start showing you places, their must have being a conversation. She must have been open to the man.

I don't know much about Unilag, but by 6.30am in my school then, security men and cleaners would be everywhere.

Notice, she said she was feeling 'drowsy' here. Would come in handy in subsequent narration.

But i thought she said the whole place was deserted? shocked

Baruwa reportedly said she might have to opt for diploma.

Shola claimed that when they went back to his office, the lecturer kept her document on his table.

grin This girl has watched too much porn I swear, pick paper ni, pick pin ko. During the pushing, you did not scream, you still do not know his intention baa? Na when e wan remove your trouser you go remember say na rape. But i thought she said she was drowsy? wasn't she supposed to be sleeping?

Our correspondent asked at this point if Shola made any attempt to shout to alert anybody nearby.

Really? She is not even smart. She would have said the man covered her mouth, that would have being believing. How would he hold your neck one way and it would not allow you to scream?

The door was supposed to be locked nah. You did not rush out. He watched you unlock the door while still dressing. Why would a rape monster ever make that mistake? Does he want to be caught? Besides, this ordeal must have taken nothing less than an hour to have come to this part. You want to tell me that the place is still vacant by 7.30am in the morning. How many persons saw you crying?

Our correspondent tracked down Dr. Baruwa a day after speaking with Shola and he gave his version of the encounter.

According to him, he indeed had a sexual encounter with Shola but it was “consensual.”

I believe this part. You don't just show a muse around. They must have being in deep conversation.

You do not wake up by 4am with rape on your mind. Haba.

Crap. I think this dude lied in this part. I think there was a little persuasion on his part. But it must have arouse due to the girls flirty attitude.

if the rape was actually done with a condom, then the girls story is crap. She meant to tell us that he was holding her hands, her neck and still used his hands to put on condoms, at the same time? The man na Superman? shocked

What i think happened is that the man in question promised shola admission during the persuasion process, but when he later called that she wouldn't be accepted, she now wanted to blackmail him with the rape case. Girls lie, ALOT!

@shachris I just read your narration and I think there are some things you need to consider before making conclusions against the girl:

First of all, the girl had rights to flirt, 100%, but that man had no right to force her to have sex, 0%. Once a woman says "STOP" not once, not twice, but many times, that Will be used against the man.

Secondly, not all rapes occur by forceful attack and penetration. If you showed a woman a gun for instance, she might consent for anything so as not to get hurt, even volunteering to pleasure you. In this scenario, she describes the place as looking deserted, enough to put substantial fear into a woman of her age, do not forget she was in the hands of a man who could easily overpower her. I'll categorically tell you at this point that some girls will not scream if they were in her shoes, because common sense says if a place is deserted, you should not drive your attacker to silence you in order to avoid being caught.

Third, many victims of rape still feel the scars of their wound for as long as they can remember the incident. An explanation I could offer for this is how you still feel some slight headache at the point of describing some symptoms to a doctor after suffering a very severe headache, this might be psychological as well as physical, nobody can tell in her case except she is properly examined.

You will be an excellent lawyer in cross-examination of prosecution witnesses. I find your argument plausible. but if I were a judge in this matter, the suspect must pay with jail term under Strict liability Rule. I can let you off if you show remorse but you must lose your job and attend counseling. on the ground that your victim is an adult. but if you bring up consent as defence, I will have you know that as a teacher you have a strict responsibility to avoid dalliance with any student under your care. it is not necessary for the girl to be s student of your school or class. once you have at least a remote influence over her, even if she is of age, it is a no go area. if she is not of age, the suspect is doubly damned!

A man capable of having 'consensual' sex with his friend's 18 year old daughter, he is supposed to be helping, is capable of so many things.

I would advice Co-debaters to stay away from this thread. Its obvious the OP just wants traffic on this thread. He is just trying to play the Devils advocate so as to get replies. He does this from time to time. Always posting anti-Biafra threads when he doesn't give two cents about if Biafra is lunacy or a reality. But since the Biafra story has died down, he is now trying any other controversial topics that will cause feedback. Please ignore him, its what the likes of him deserve for they have no respect for what Nairaland stands for.

Establishing a case of rape has proven to be difficult worldwide. Though väginal penetration alone can kick start a case of alleged rape, the victim should be able to prove that in the cause of resisting the rapist, her cloths got torn and she sustained bruises. This is important because after a girl gives consent to a man to have sèx with her, she can turn around to claim she was raped.

What if she didnt resist because she feared for her life. This is an 18yrs old girl. A lecturer that have cultist boys can be a terror to a young girl. Even at school many boys use their membership of cult groups to rape colleague older girls not to talk of lecturer versus jambite. Havent u heard of situations where a rapist will command a girl to UnCloth herself, rape her and then ask her to put on the clothes afterwards using some coercive means. In such cases no torn clothes, so does it absolve d rapist of d crime? Many girls have been killed inadvertently in d process of resisting rapers. I said inadvertently because murder might not be part of d rapers initial plan. Pls, a raper has no excuse!!!

As you believe it's possible for an 18 year old girl to feel threatened, I believe it's possible for one's girlfriend, neighbour or colleague, after having consensual sèx, turn around to say she was raped. The evidence of torn cloths and bruises is what would determine if it's true.

Really?! Hog wash. He raped her. No doubt in my mind about it and he should rot in jail for it. Too many men get away with this that's why it continues to happen. Hope you are not a rapist yourself the way you are defending him!
