Being ugly is a big disadvantages for a young woman, especially in this era of the internet and Instagram models. Beauty is the measure of feminity, I believe, as power is seen as the measure of masculinity. The more beautiful you are as a woman, the more feminine and fertile you tend to be seen. Beauty is one factor that must make a man climb a woman and make babies from her. Unless for other factors, I believe many men who go for ugly or below average women are just "managing" or haven't gone past first layer of attraction which is sexuality (the primal need for sex). And don't mention good character, everybody has good and bad character. Human behavior is very complex. |
