Anambra State is an Igbo speaking state in the South Eastern part of Nigeria. It is made up of 98% Ibo and 2% Igalla speaking people. Below are some facts about the state. It is the most densely populated state in Nigeria after Lagos. It has the highest literacy rate in Nigeria. It is the only state that increased its workers salary when many states cannot pay their workers. Has the lowest poverty rate in Nigeria. Has the highest number of JAMB candidates in recent times. Has made the best result in WAEC/NECO since 2011/2012 to 2014. Politically, it is the state of firsts in Nigeria. First state to have a sitting governor removed by an election tribunal. OkutaNla: It doesn't harm people, it can only eat eggs lay by chickens but it can't bite human, even when it mistakenly bites it will blow it so it won't hurt, yes even adults do run away from it, its strange thing now seeing snake around and not act. Whether kids, adults, strangers everybody scamper in the sight of it but it doesn't harm people. We don't worship it anyway but we conserve it, one can kill it secretly but its not good because it doesn't harm, if you don't want it around use long stick to evacuate it to the forests. Yes they are many but overzealous pastors are now killing them with reckless abandon so the population is reducing and they are avoiding homes now |
