It's either the police force seems to be high on drugs or drugs are high on them. Last time, they added ambulance for emergency, now we're only seeing people who need the siren not for something important. Whether siren or not, reckless driving of escorts will even make passersby to quit the road and jump inside a gutter.

the list is too long.... some are not necessary.

So no one in the Judiciary is entitled to use siren?

In sane countries only the fire service, ambulance and police responding to emergency are allowed to use siren. But in Nigeria every Tom Dick and Harry is a big man, blowing siren all over the goddam place, even Obama doesn't use siren but the roads are closed for him to pass through.

Two questions 1, where do we report and 2, what is the relevance of the VIOs? The vios should be driven off road, leaving whatever they do to Road Safety. Just like reducing the number of Ministers to save costs, the clearing of the vios off our roads will be good riddance.

Even our onowu (Traditional prime minister) uses siren in our village

How about Ambulances, DPOs, LG Chairmen, Party Chieftains, Ministers and Area Boys. To me this lists is just for paper sake, trust naija, anything is possible so far you can dole. We wait and see and see how they intend to implement it. God Bless naija.

Such a big joke. Well except if the I.G will personally be on hand to enforce, which i know is very impossible. The folks that are supposed to enforce the law are the very ones breaking it. Let them mount guard on third-mainland bridge, they ply that route everyday.

I believe for Ambulance and other military and police on emergency siren is allowed. In movies u don't see foreign police just blazing siren na... but when them dey pursue thief, it is very necessary, so also with Ambulance on emergency.
