quiinnBee: Ha! Sext You're right though. I also think that maybe they're a little hard to handle, these online romances. At some point, I'm sure one ends up craving doing things the conventional way eg. have them there with you physically, yanno. Kinda bitter/sweet, I can imagine. |

quiinnBee: Hahaha. One important lesson I learned in life is, never say never. Life has a way of making you do things you swore you'd never do. Just to shake you up & show you a thing or two. It's like poetic justice. So now I just go with the flow because most of the things I was against, I ended up doing. It's surreal because when I have a strong opinion about something, I know it's waiting for me in the future, somewhere, to challenge & stare me in the face. I'm at the point where I'm afraid to be rigid about stuff. Have you ever experienced something like that? |

So far, I have only encountered one Nigerian from Lagos that I would have dated in real life. He isn't on Nairaland, but I just wanted to share my experience. I met him through Instagram and was very attractive! *sighs* Distance always ruins everything. HAHA 1 Like |

quiinnBee: No, I meant ironic twist of fate, where you ended up doing what you said you'd never do. Hmm well, he obviously wasn't "the one". I like to read spiritual literature & in spirituality they say you find love when/where you least expect to find it. It comes as a There's even things called twin flames, which they say is literally the other half of your soul. The yin to your yang. Really profound stuff. |

quiinnBee: lol @ not that wittle. IMO, life would be so much easier if we were all born with some kind of mark that matches whoever your one is. All this fumbling in the dark is tiring. Wouldn't that be just grand? All the ones that don't match you just hump & say deuces No delusions, false hopes & dreams. 1 Like 1 Share |

PunkyVeer:they say you kiss a lot of frogs, so that when you finally meet your prince charming, you'll appreciate him more. |
Re: Dear Romancelanders, who Would U Like To Romance On Nairaland? by Nobody: 9:22pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
quiinnBee: True dat! Ok, the number of "frogs" should be limited then Nobody wants to waste time with a Mr-Right-Now. We need "signs" that point & say "this is it". My greatest fear is wasting time lol. Every person I've been with, that question has always been at the back of my mind-are you the main meal or a snack? Hmm.. |
Re: Dear Romancelanders, who Would U Like To Romance On Nairaland? by Nobody: 9:29pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
PunkyVeer:too young to marry, so aint thinking of future with any guy right now.just a stress free relationship they say when someone is meant for you, you have a way of knowing..mmm dono how true that is |
Re: Dear Romancelanders, who Would U Like To Romance On Nairaland? by Nobody: 9:33pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
PunkyVeer:Live like a modern and independent lady and stop fretting over your life. You can't even make a good wife if you live a life of fear because your man is going to prey on that weakness. Jeez! Why would you want to live like your ancestors? |
Re: Dear Romancelanders, who Would U Like To Romance On Nairaland? by Nobody: 9:44pm On Sep 25, 2015 |
all4naija: Always misinterpreating my words I'm not fretting, btw. I'm a HOPELESS romantic at heart & very idealistic about love. In my mind I expect it to be a certain way. I'm very quick to drop a guy if everything about him goes against my expectations of what love should be, so no guy would ever "prey" on me. I can flip my emotions like a gymnast. Ask the last nigga that thought I was all goo goo ga ga, only for me to drop him flat on his fanny when he did something I thought my "prince charming" would never do. Idealistic but not idiotic |
