Lol. You sure you wanna play strong shoulder? Nothing happened, just caught a bug from a swamp that's mimicking and repopulating my brain cells. You like? Or don't like? Soon there will be no more trace of Vesc as you know it. Hahahahahahaha!!!!!!
Re: The Movie Club by vescucci(m): 2:41pm On Mar 03, 2010
I've found that you don't treat your votes as votes JK. Like now, as far as you're concerned there is only one vote. What's the deal with that? Anti-nepotism?

@all,

I grew up loving that chinco/malysian movie (I could remember back then we'd wear headbands and jump around chairs yelling "Seven lucky kids, all for one. . .YEAAAAA!"wink. Abegi i vote for 7 lucky ninja kids. Pretty funny movie.

As for Shutter Island, Di Caprio & Scorsese shocked shocked in one word "Brilliant". But i'm not rooting for it to be reviewed anyways
Re: The Movie Club by vescucci(m): 10:43am On Mar 04, 2010
Prepare for a bout of nostalgia. Police Assassin. Magic Crystal. Revenge Of The Ninja. Above The Law. Mortal Kombat. American Ninja. Operation Condor. Cynthia Rottweiler, sorry Rothrock.

These were the vile things I had to like to feel among with my peers. I was alone in my lunacy of oldies. Still am I guess.

JK. I am flummoxed about this Lucky Number Slevin thing o! Jeez. Let's do Sherlock Holmes then if we've not done it before.
Re: The Movie Club by obinna5000(m): 10:46am On Mar 04, 2010
We have reviewed "Sherlock Holmes" (2009) already.

Aww sod this. I'll review any bleeding films y'all can agree upon.
Re: The Movie Club by MadMax1(f): 5:08pm On Mar 04, 2010
Lucky Number Slevin. Not bad. I liked Lucy Liu and her 'meet cute' scene with Hartnett. But you could sort of see the ending coming, if you'd paid attention. Bruce Lee movies? He's hot, and very dead, and I wasn't born before any of those movies. I know I've seen em all but I can't recall a single scene. Except those 'gbish gbish' blows and kicks. Will you all agree on a movie already? *rolls eyes *

Re: The Movie Club by obinna5000(m): 2:49pm On Mar 06, 2010
Well, what can I say about "Lucky Number Slevin"? Strong character representation from Bruce Willis, Josh Hartnett & Lucy Liu. Ben Kingsley disappointed me a bit. It turned out at the end, Josh Hartnett's character - Slevin Kelevra has a different personality altogether and was using his previous role as a cover-up.

I give "Lucky Number Slevin" a 73% rating.

Lucky Number Slevin is a blockbuster. . . . .
Everything was done to perfection and the movie soundtrack was excellent!
The only flaw(-0.00000001%) was Lucy Liu not baring it all. cheesy

Re: The Movie Club by vescucci(m): 7:51am On Mar 09, 2010
Lucky Number Slevin was one of the few movies that delivered exactly what the trailer promised. All the characters were perfect. Even Danny Aiello. Ben Kingsley is, what's the word, amenable. He has the face that can become anything, any race. I'm always partial to Bruce Willis. Josh Hartnett was great. I wish I had the his condition if it was true what he said and not that he was just a careful planner. Morgan Freeman doesn't even have to show his face to blow you away. The devil took Syl Stallone's voice and added it to Freeman's. Only price are those warts. Lucy came good and I've always thought she was a sweetheart. I thought she'd turn out to be an assassin in the movie but Mr. Dekelevra turned to be the assassin. Good movie all around. Beautiful ending. Never a dull moment. Dunno who the deuce McGuigan is but I'd have guessed Tarantino/Ritchie made the movie. 88%.

Have we done Atonement?
