I don't know where you live but if it's not in the southwest, I would like you to make a research about how really respectful igbos are to other tribes. I can categorically tell you that some landlords in Lagos no longer let out apartments to igbos. That should arouse your curiosity, why igbos? Why not urhobo, or edo, or hausa? You think there's a meeting where the discrimination of igbo people is a topic or this message is disseminated codedly in the middle of the night?

I have no problem with igbos, but the good ones among you should call your errant brethren to order or you will be painted with the same brush. Who has time to be picking which igbo is good and which is an ass? It's much, much easier to just tag you all the same.

I had been to the east a couple of times before service. My mom is from Delta and we have family living in Enugu.

I have no idea how any tribe would do on their own. Like I said earlier, how good you'd be doing when you're independent would be visible by now. We'd be seeing glimpses at least. Since 1999, political office all of igboland has been held by igbos, hasn't it? Any non-igbo governor, or commissioner in any igbo state? Don't be lied to. Look at NDDC, the money in there is being stolen by the very Niger Deltans that wailed for such an institution to be established; money amounting to billions of dollars unaccounted for. The same thieves holding power in igboland now would still be the ones ruling over you guys.

You don't need secession, you need to hold your leaders to account and bring them to book. Where will you put the likes of Ekweremadu, or the Chris Ubas and their like? You really think if all igbos left Lagos the state would die? At worst it would be a major inconvenience, as the vacuum left would need to be filled. But igbos hardly provide any crucial services that cannot be replaced in months. Where there's demand, supply is bound to respond. So, while the taxes would be short for a while, it would be back up eventually.

What you should concerned about is why these taxes aren't being paid in igboland?
