Hello everyone my kia sorento 2004 has been giving problem for 3 months now, it started with not accelerating beyond 20km/hr I was adviced to change the injector coils and plugs which I did, still no difference then I fell into the hand of a quack mechanic that suggested that washing the injector nozzles will solve the issue but the car worsened the engine now smokes, cant climb steeped roads, totally useless, kindly offer suggestions or recommend a kia expert.

Ur gear is simply d problem Bros.

Change ur gear

You may be right ! I observed the D light on the cluster is off when I put the lever in drive after parking in a downward inclined position. But if I park in an upward inclined position for some time and I then put it in Drive the D light comes on and the car operates fine.

When the D light is off it takes time to change gear.

Could it be ATF fluid ?
