Often times than not, ladies are already planning their wedding in their head the moment they meet or even before they meet that one special man, on the other hand, guys are usually not thinking in that line. Men are not wired that way, people argue, but a number of factors will contribute to you as a lady earning the right to be his ‘Mrs.’ ultimately. So what are some of the ways to get him to take that next step? There’s no one-size-fits-all formula, but here are a couple:

1. DON’T BRING UP MARRIAGE OR ‘A FUTURE TOGETHER’ TALK PREMATURELY



Unless he brings it up in conversation, don’t talk marriage with him, at least not directly. For some guys, it tends to scare them a way sub-consciously. They probably feel it’s too soon for such kind of talk, usually because they believe they are not ready emotionally, psychologically or financially. So ladies should try to be sensitive to the situation of the relationship to know whether to bring up such topic for discuss. There are subtle ways of discussing the topic that may not scare him away. You just have to be tactful about it.


2. GET ALONG ‘STUPIDLY’ WELL WITH HIS GUY FRIENDS



This is one of the bankable ways of stealing his heart forever. His guy friends should like you well enough for them to tease him about you as being such a great catch. When you hang out with his friends, they shouldn’t feel like you are a third wheel, so learn to get along with whatever he and his friends are into, even if you don’t like it. Appear cool and his friends will help knock some sense into your guy if he doesn’t take you seriously like he ought to.
3. SHOW HIM YOUR WOMANLY AND MOTHERLY QUALITIES


Give him a total home-makeover at his apartment – from cooking him something nice to cleaning, doing the dishes and all that homely stuff. Though I’m not advocating you turning to an overnight or everyday housemaid so he doesn’t get too comfortable for his own good, but do this occasionally, just because it is a noble thing to do and not just because you have an ulterior motif – and if you are the type that hates to cook and clean, then you better make up for it somewhere else, or possibly do the chores together as often as possible. That way, it becomes less of a chore.




4. FOR PETE’S SAKE PLEASE DON’T NAG


Yes we know it’s in the nature of most ladies to talk and talk and just keep talking, and end up carrying that trait to nagging over issues. Newsflash! It’s just not cute in any way. For the sake of a possible future together, ladies should try to drop that habit like a slice of very hot potatoes in the mouth. There’s no point revisiting old issues needlessly. Let sleeping dogs lie! Enough said.
5. HIS FAMILY SHOULD ACCEPT AND LOVE YOU

This is almost a no-brainer. If his family members get you and are especially fond of you, you are halfway crossed the finished line in the relationship books. So get to be cool with his folks and siblings and be as real as possible.

6. RESPECT AND LOVE HIM HARD


Be a sweetheart. Be respectful and thoughtful of him, captivating in thoughts, words and actions towards your man. Don’t stop being that lady he fell uncontrollably for. Always be there for him in good times and bad, in ways unimaginable, surprise him occasionally, be adventurous, keep it sexy for him and let it continually ring in his mind and heart that you are the one he is to eventually say ‘I do’ to.




7. HAVE YOUR OWN IDENTITY, DRIVE AND AMBITION



Fewer things turn a man on about a woman who is independent and has a drive and purpose. She is comfortable in her skin as to what she does or wants to do with her life and goes out to make a difference regardless of any man’s wealth. She is her own woman. An independent lady should also respect and support her man’s dreams and help to nurture it by pushing him to be the very best he can be. That is marriage material.

All well said, when he finally decide to take you in, I take God beg you, continue and be more of what u 'were/are' many we guys don't see what we fell for and we tend to look out, that doesn't justify our action, but trust me, rock his boat well, and he may just not look out.
