liberty300: Abeg STFU. At least Imo and Abia states in the Red contribute something tangible. Those states in red just require better management that is all. This data suggests nothing more economically and financially.Abeg wetin Anambra dey contribute to commonwealth? You are the real hypocrite here coz for once you're happy to be in the same league with the Northerners y'all loathe so much. Ndi Ara. |

zuchyblink: Oh, so now Anambra and the Northerner states you all bad-mouth are more productive than Abia, Imo, Bayela and the SW states? See your life. Hypocrite on the loose! Security!! |

liberty300: Actually yes, most of those Chinese in Nigeria would rather be abroad to avoid competing with their fellows back in overpopulated China -- #Fact. Why is that Yee.bo gala seller in the SW to hawk gala,so far from home in alaigbo? Face it. It's an open secret that your region simply lacks the resources and opportunities to engage her citizens economically. Until that is rectified to stem the brain drain nothing you say here will hold water. #Yinmu. |

zuchyblink:the govt contributes a lot in making the citizens productive ie encouraging education and creating avenues for employment. they have a small population, receiving billions more than states with double their population. now why hasn't their wealth transferred into development. who controls their wealth, the govt. 1 Like |

@invest2013 God bless you for this, I have been a key observer of the economies of Nigerian states I have always known about half the states to be viable. How abia and imo found themselves in the list of worthless, profligate states is what I do not know. How to boost the economies of the whole east should be of major concern to our people now. 1 Like |

emmatok:Too many public institutions in my opinion, the number of state owned tertiary institutions is way too much. Overbloated civil service, and large number of pensioners, i learnt it inherited a lot from the Old Oyo state. |

Abagworo:Why is imo doing free education? Is education a problem in imo as much as bad roads are? Did rochas study economics at all.? Why is imo not topping the country as it used to, in educational excellence? 1 Like |
