The Britons will never spend 1 pound of their earning outside or within their country. They would rather put it back in their economy expecting Other countries to patronize them.

Good development!
The Change is Real

Are you kidding me? The Brits spend alot more on just holidays abroad than Nigerians spend in UK... Why should they go to another man's country to purchase things readily available in their own country.. It's all well and good supporting your home market, and placing restrictions on imports, but you must be ready to provide the quality goods and enabling environs if you want home trade to flourish.. We are not there yet..

Good development if true. We should buy made in Nigeria products and not foreign made. We can't continue to improve the British economy and by so doing, be killing our own economy.
what about quality ??

Guy drink water and red again, the Market is in SE london, its a cheap street market where its original aim was for people to bring goods they no longer need and sell them at cheap rate, it was meant to be just a laugh.Example of such is the Oshodi market.People who go to that market are People who live and work In that part of London only, its not an export market, there are no whole sale there, its full of cheap stuff fit for broke people.
which market exactly in SE london are talking about? The one they are talking about on here is in liverpool street, that's definitely not in SE london.

AM assuming you are talking about the east street market along walwort road between cambarwell road and elephant and castle SE london

Oga madam Liverpool street is in central London. The heart of d city (in London, d city is d financial district), u find university and office buildings in DT area. Even dt iconic igloo-looking building (cant rmmbr d name) is in DT area. You will not find RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGs. Its just a specialist foreign market mainly for fabrics. And there are a lot of specialist markets in london. By specialist i mean, very specific goods. e.g. if i want a very good scarf i go to d arabs on edgware road. They don't sell UK products. Everyone DT goes to these mkts know DT. If u want qlty jeans u go to topshop on d high street & not to a specialist MKT where u know d jeans was imported from turkey.

FG should mandate that before applying for a foreign visa to non-sub-Saharan African nations Nigerians should pay for a permit from FG equivalent to 3 times the cost of visa for that country. unless they can prove compassionate reasons why the fee for permit should be reduced to minimum $150.

That should do the trick.

DelGardo:
It will be nice also for the British High Commission and their High Performance visa processing agent to suffer the same fate.

Charging Nigerians USD500 for a two year visa , and insisting on dollar payment inside Nigeria is wrong on so many levels.

Oxford Circus and Jermyne Street will soon feel the impact too.

Change is here.

So a story told by someone on Nairalalnd is the best "authority" you can use to assert your claim?
You are foolish beyond redemption! grin grin
How are you sef?
Illiterate Gala seller, how would you know the difference?
Beer parlour indeed.

Okay, let us even assume, for discussion purposes, that the story is absolutely true.
Did you not notice that that limit applies to CARD TRANSACTION?

That is why l said "shopping money / BTA" in my earlier post.
Go back and confirm that line in the post.

Truly, ignorance is an illusion of Knowledge, or people like you!

If the person in that story wanted to pay for goods worth One Million Dollars, he does not need to use his Credit Card.
WHY? The charges are exorbitant.

A cheaper and the recommended alternative is to use a bank transfer!

I am convinced you have comprehension problems otherwise you would have seen the same thing in my post where l said all you need to do (and l have done this a number of times this year) a Bank transfer.
Get the sellers IBAN and BIC (International bank transfer codes) and instruct your bank to wire the money to them. SIMPLE.

Credit /Debit Card are meant for Shopping and over the Counter purchases but foolish people like you want to use it to by a tractor!
grin grin

Anyway, you guys can continue to wallow in ignorance and #Wail all day long, e nor concern people like me! grin grin undecided undecided

The policy will stay for as long as needed. Anyoen not happy with it and who does not want to use their Bank for payments, can go hang on a Mango tree.
PMB nor send una.
Bunch of Criminals

Lastpage!

Do you actually think I read all you type, I don't have enough time for that.

At least you saw international transactions on cards in my last post, didn't you?

Bolden, colorize your post all you want.

Since you know it all. How do you pay into a UK account with this CBN policy?

Have u ever bn there? Pple buy shoe/bag set in massive Ghana must go and cargo it home. Same wt d lace. Very few pple even go there to buy single stuff.
