bonechamberlain:it is cosmetic that is why there are no shuttle service bus. have you ever travel abroad and how many of your family has made a priority to land at the airport even KANU was arrested at Abuja's airport. it is the collective responsibility of people from that axis to sustain patronage. 2 Likes |

FolarinLondon: Sooo pathetic. A few days ago we all saw an airport pull out a ladder to make passengers alight from an aircraft. Big disgrace. No one from dt region claimed marginalization, but these idiots took a stroll from d tarmac and saw another opportunity to increase their imaginary list of "buhari vs biafra is d reason we went violent". They must really think d intl community are idiots. I say get the f**k out of Nigeria already. Buh Bye! 3 Likes |

asorocker: The reason why they can't take it over and manage it , For that to happen, first the airport has to be privatized by federal government and Enugu state government can't take it over either because its federal government owned . For businesses and establishments or for us as people to survive in Southeast , We Igbos has to call with honesty a change of system of government, True Federalism is what we need, 100% resources control for every state, in that way the five Southeast state can come together formulate policies that will allow them to coordinate developments in our area until then . 1 Like |

The real question nobody always asks is, who is marginalizing the Igbos? A little diligence would reaveal that it is an Igbo man or woman that cornered the funds meant to buy that airport bus. But the way in which the mindset of a large population of igbos have been configured to always put the blame on others is mind boggling. 10 Likes |

bonechamberlain:Have you bordered trace where the sabotage is coming from?... You claim the airport is tactically abandoned by this government?... tell me one other project across Nigeria that has not been tactically abandoned since 2015 because of paucity of funds?... how much was budgeted for this very project in the 2015 by GEJ in his 2015 budget?... Yet you conviniently place the blame on a new fundless government that inherited the abandoned project. The persecution complex and victim mentality exhibited by Igbos across Nigeria has become an irritating nag, nobody takes this Igbo immaturity serious anymore. And yeah, the nation is not going to be balkanised since that is typically the target of all this nagging. 8 Likes |

Other and even smaller states are building or have built their own airports so exactly why is it so difficult for the entire east to build 1 single airport or even join money together to build just 1 airport. ...but the same people are always quick to abuse and ridicule other states for building their own airports. Well as usual, it's always other people's fault....smh.. 6 Likes |

Some stakeholders in South East have raised alarm over an alleged plot by some people in Nigeria, especially the Federal Ministry of aviation staff, to sabotage flight activities at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, to give the impression that it was not suitable to render international services. If it was indeed suitable why did Kanu not come in through this gateway to Biafra? 4 Likes |

bonechamberlain:At a time like this when powerful nations are thinking of merging, already backward nations are planning to split. Nobody wants the instability that comes with a balkanised nation. Furthermore, if the clamour of the secessionists is for only the 5 landlocked purely Igbo states to split, I can assure you there wouldnt be much opposition. Lastly, if the agitators reduce the amount of open insults, death wishes and accusations against the west and the north, then maybe these people would be less concerned about what some igbos want to do in the SE. And FYI, there's no nation that isnt man-made so enough of all these ignorant talk about Nigeria being man-made. 3 Likes |

obailala: so why the opposition, which powerful nations are planning to merge, hope u aren't thinking e.u. the situation in Nigeria is the same with what the Czech president said about accepting refugees into his country. according to Milos Zeeman " "I think that we would not have to accept any refugees from countries distant from us in terms of culture. It is quite different with accepting, let’s say, Ukrainians," Zeman said on Wednesday during a meeting with the community of the city of Jihlava... that's the situation in Nigeria, the cultural difference is even more than what u see, but because some people (foreign and locals) benefit from the divided unity, we must remain one. Nigeria can only remain one if all states control what they have and not hoping on a centre controlled by parasites and unintelligent leaders. when this happens u will find out that those saying we must be one would be the ones screaming for disintegration. 2 Likes |

janellemonae: a strong centre in the 60s, the coup wasn't successful so it never happened, azikiwe preached it, but it never happened. those guys including ironsi were trying to see if that could bring unity to this country, but unfortunately their efforts were rubbished because some people felt they own Nigeria. we are in the 21st century now, state controlling what they have is the only way for unity (if its ever possible), in this country. I still don't know why that also is difficult. some people are just comfortable surviving from what isn't theirs. I think that's the reason for this preaching of one Nigeria. |
