I really had a worse day at my gym today. There was an issue with thread mill on which i was running which upset me a little. And i was waiting for almost 20 min for getting other cardio equipment's. |

heyeveryone, thank you all for the well wishes and prayers and for checking on me. ihave alot of catching up to do oh. yayyy to the ever active members of this thread hg, babs, modath, agaba, yinks, simababe etc. welcome all the new members. @Romeo, good tohave you back here, please dont disappear again oh. @modath: I told my baby that you gave her aname and she is seriously considering itoh, lol. @all, we are doing well. I have been given the green light to resume workouts. I am still taking iteasy however. for now, its walking anand weights. I might not have the time to be logging everyday for now but will drop by from time to time. have a good weekend all. |

It is is nice to know you are a beginner, just start by doing something you truly enjoy. Like can you start walking more and faster like 30 minutes a day [not the usual am going-to-work Lagos walk o. Start climbing stairs deliberately then move to running up the stairs and down. If you have a good neighbourhood, then wake up early and do the running 10 mins, and work your way up. If you are disposed register in a gym and tell them you are a beginner. Then you need to understand THIS, weight loss is 20% exercise and 80% diet, so you need to watch what you eat and try to keep everything in MODERATION. Log in here everyday to share your progress, when we don't see you we sense something is wrong. |

End of another wonderful week. It went thus: 27 minutes Level 3 of 30DS 18.5 minutes Jump Rope interval, it is now at ratio 1:1 + 30 minutes walk away the pounds 32 minutes strength training - upper body(circuit training) + 20 minutes brisk walk 18.5 mins JR + 54 minutes taebo bootcamp training 40 minutes Strength training (core) 60 minutes Core Max with Cathe Wednesday is now my rest day. Have a splendid weekend. |

@I KILL - Start by having (1) an exercise plan, (2) a meal plan. - How many days can you dedicate a wekk to exercise, and for how long. Write this down Be realistic, because you have to keep to it, and your MUST be consistent with it. I advise a minimum of 3 days a week, and 45mins each time.Tip: Be consistent. - What kind of exircise is available to you? If you do not have access to a gym, then brisk walking, or bodyweight exercises will do at home. Again, decise what you are capable of. Write it down, and keep to it. Tip: Be consistent. - Sort out your meals. An exercise plan without a decent meal plan is like taking 2 steps forward, and 2 steps backward. You will fnd yourself at the same place after ll the work. 3 (small/medium) meals a day(minimum)- ALWAYS at the same time, 1-2 Ltrs of water. Breakfast is a MUST. Cut out as much sugary foods, fat, oil, fried food, salt, red meat and proccessed foods as you can. Eat more fish, fibre, fruit & veg as you can. This will help you maximise your exercise plan.Tip: Be consistent. |

@HG: I dey o. My son was admitted to hospital for the past few days, praise God he is discharged now and better. It was a very stressful period. Obviously my focus was on him getting better so any workout regime was on hold.. In the meantime food has been good or even non existent as stress took my appetite.
