Exactly my thoughts. Where it would be a crime is if human sacrifice is involved which in this case, I am not sure

If it's confirmed that he buried a live animal, he would be charged for animal abuse and (animal man slaughter)

Since there were eyewitnesses who have seen the pastor why claiming that what was buried is unknown? Simply ask the two witnesses (Mr chinedu and his dad) to disclose the exact location. The same report says that what was buried is suspected to be a live animal, then what warrant any arrest here? At least it was not a human being.

Though the act of burying the charm is not a crime, but it is a crime to deceive the public that he is a pastor, when he is not.

He can also be charged for stealing under false pretenses on account of all the tithes and offerings he has been collecting.

I can boldly state that,if u see any pastor or prophet performs a sort of miracle either by pointing,or by touching,and the victims falls or react at all.its either a planned scenario..or ..he/she is using black magic.
