Unlike what many people might think, most of us guys never had it good all the time. While hustling on the ever busy streets of Lagos, I had a date with a Nairaland member. The first date was awesome, she agreed to see me the second time. On the third date, we stumbled on an old acquaintance who's car was parked outside. On getting out, my date simply refused to go with me. She exclaimed "who no sabi better thing?". It was unfathomable that this Nairaland babe would dump me the instant she sees a Toyota corolla. I knew that moment I was dating an "Olosho" and it took me six months to recover from the shock. What's your experience. |

Your supposed dating story while being contextual is as fictitious as fictional stories come. No girl who's agreed to go on a THIRD DATE with you would jump ship for a seemingly richer man; not in your presence anyway. She'll just lead you on while she consolidates on colonizing your friend's interest. Funny how most of them are moved by cars though. Luukasz: I hope someone also treats your sister and daughter the same way. If your dad treated your mum the same way, you wouldn't actually be here today typing this piece of crap. You need to change your mentality, not all women are the same. You'd also want to get married one day right? DonChippy: All girls are moved by cars. It's one of their many weaknesses. Whether they act on that impulse depends on the girl and her values. I live in a city where navigating one's way around is easy - no traffic jams, portable and accessible roads and an efficient transportation system which makes owning a car less than a necessity yet countless young men purchase cars daily; even within my clique of friends. When you ask them why they purchase cars as against investing money in real estate, their replies are nearly always the same: "GET THE CAR, GET ALL THE GIRLS". Sadly enough, they are right.
