while I think this is a great answer to the question for an interview scenerio, but its not practical. We are talking about 'a wild, stormy night' and the young man thinks the best thing to do is to go chyke a girl. Will she even be in the mood?

Man was told to solve this moral Dilemma in a Job Interview. His answer is genius.

Question:

You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night. You pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for the bus.

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.

2. An old friend who once saved your life.

3. The perfect woman (or) man you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car?

Think before you continue reading. This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as a part of a job application.

You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first; or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you may never be able to find your perfect dream lover again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with his answer. I love this. I might actually use it sometimes for an interview situation.

He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to my old friend, and let him take the old lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the woman of my dream".

Never forget to "Think Outside of the Box"

What if the guy doesn't know how to drive?

I will appeal to my friend that we have save life, collect the lady's contact and take the woman to the hospital.

But if the friend knows howww to drive, I think the man gave a perfect answer.

Choi! Some badass comments here! LMAO!

Well, if I was the interviewer, I would give him the job but won't be too impressed!

Firstly, to be realistic, it isn't possible for a car to accommodate just 1 person!

Secondly, how is he so sure the other lady is the woman/man of his/her dreams? Chilling with the chic under the storm only means the guy wants to 'do'! So that makes him irresponsible somehow! So the guy no see the woman of his dream for church, or work or in broad day light...na for stormy night the babe show! Continu o!

Thirdly, coming over to what happens in the country, what if the whole thing is a set up? You go fear one chance na!

Abegi!

What if your old friend has joined bad gang and decide to vamoose with your car? angry
What if your assumed dream woman is another olosho waiting for "short time" or "day break" customer? cheesy

So i wont employ your genius cos he is not only a careless fellow but a callous one too wink grin grin cool

That's not really a problem because of the friend who saved ur life vamoses with ur car I think it's a worthy enough payback because ur life is probably worth more than the car. If the woman of ur dream happens to be an olosho then nothing spoil as she will be giving u both short-time and daybreak for the rest of ur life... And u managed to save a poor old lady's life out of it wink so gbam

@OP, to you now, his response is EPIC ba? What if the friend never returns with your car? Do you av an idea of how long they both av been waiting for a vehicle to pass by? Don't be surprised if eventually another vehicle passes and your "dream girl" elopes with another man; leaving you all by yourself and then you lose on all fronts, afterall she's only your "dream girl" and you were never her "dream man"

That's a perfect and a brilliant answer in this situation....

To those criticizing his answer there's no condition given regarding the state/condition of the people involved. The only condition given was that of the car.....
