ril19:You made nice point but You should be complaining of the amount not who. State will still go to the community leaders and that will still increase the price by involving more people, moreover how are you sure the state govt is not involved here. How many decent/gentle people have you seen that are key players in community land sales. Omonile must be involved even Tinunbu will involve area boys if he needs a land in lagos. |

sunnyb0b0:A typical plot of land on the island usually goes for between $4 million and $6 million, and the cheapest building on the island costs upward of $8 million. But because of the ridiculous prices of property on the island, about 60% of the completed buildings are currently unoccupied. -Forbes. People get money for this country o walahi! |

49cents:mechonu, Buhari is a retired General that isn't scared of anybody. Just as militant were scared of Abacha's brutality, so they'll be scared of buhuri's. Sanity must be restored in nigeria whether they like it or not. |

kraftsta: that is what a lot of folks don't understand, the Niger delta struggle can never be the same again after the likes of tompolo and co have been made billionaires couple with the amnesty regime, any unrest in the Niger delta will not be taken serious any longer but be seen as a war against the state. e.g. the useless protests in the se and blocking of the Niger bridge. A word is enough for the wise, Tompolo will submit himself to Efcc, he is only weighing his options, he was powerful in the last administration but not in this present one, he is just an ordinary citizen apart from some wailers who still see him as their hero. |

Acidosis: leave your nemesis fashola and tinubu out of this, they will also explain themselves when Efcc invites them but please advise Tompolo to go for a friendly visit to the efcc biko |

hmuhammad: So happy that an Aboki is on my mentions Nemesis lives in the North that's why you guys remain the most developed socially, culturally, materially and sadly mentally and eductionally. Despite all the decades your own ruled Nigeria and ravaged the south as "conquered territory" still your siblings are the ones begging all over south, ridden with all manner of diseases; boko haram has run mad slaughtering the innocent lowly northerners like sallah rams while your so-called fearless Generals dare not speak but look on..... The day the northern people would find freedom is the day when it's leaders come to terms with the truth: the South isn't conquered territory Meanwhile arguments aren't necessary about Tompolo vs Buhari....lets sit back and watch the drama unfold |

hmuhammad:Then how do you feel when this same SANITY is being carried out with utmost partiality, if Tompolo refuse to turn himself in are you aware that he is justified because what is still amiss with Nigeria line of judgment is, "the bigger and most dangerous thieves (the IBSs, OBJs, Atikus, Tinubus, T.Y Danjumas, Dantatas, Adenugas, etc of this world) had milked us dry, unfortunately, they are the ones calling the shots in this government therefore the insignificant small fries like the 'character' here must be messed up..... What a banana republic Nigeria had been turned into in the name of fighting corruption in saner climes, Amaechi, Fashola, Audu Ogbeh etc had no business being Ministers in a Country poised to fight corruption to a stand still. |

omogin:if PMB is to start from 1999, then nothing will be achieved in the next 4yrs and folks like you will still scream there were no notable achievements. Let him start and probe what he deems fit, it was a shame on the previous administration not to have done their due diligence. That's the price you pay for incompetence and ignorance. |

Na dollars in billions, not Dolapo because Dolapo na Name of a person. my question is " If Tompolo who weighs 60kg could sell land for 13bn naira, how much would Asari who weighs 165kg would sell the same piece of land, provided all rules of proportionality are obeyed." |

OBJ, Atiku, IBB, Danjuma, Amaechi, Tinubu, etal all live on stolen wealth. Did Nigeria also begin to exist from the era of Jonathan? |

tomakint: Agreed that corruption has been our bane for decades now but it still doesn't excuse anyone who indulges in it , what is wrong is wrong even if everyone is doing it ( which isn't even possible ). Jonathan's case is on the tip of our tongues cos his is the most recent case and the last government before PMB , the level of corruption in his government was also the highest in recent times with a free for all "chopping" of the national cake ( all here signifies his own people and not the general populace ). It was like an all you can eat buffet , everybody consumed to their delight. Let's give kudos to whom deserves it and reprimand to those who have erred. |
