All four Gospels record Jesus peace be upon him as saying, "Blessed are the peace-makers; they will be called sons of God."
To say that God became truly a human being invites a number of questions. Let us ask the following about the so called 'man-God 'Jesus peace be upon him. What happened to his foreskin after his circumcision (Luke 2:21)?
Did it ascend to heaven, or did it decompose as with any human piece of flesh? During his lifetime what happened to his hair, nails, and blood shed from wounds? Did the cells of his body die as in ordinary human beings? If his body did not function in a truly human way, he could not be truly human as well as truly God. Yet, if his body functioned exactly in a human way, this would nullify any claim to divinity. It would be impossible for any part of God, even if incarnate, to decompose in any way and still be considered God. The everlasting, one God, in whole or in part, does not die, disintegrate, or decompose:
‘For I the Lord do not change.’ (Malachi 3:6) Jesus has two nature, fully God and Fully man, christ was a man, it was God the son incarnate in Jesus the christ. Micah 5:2 "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are FROM OF OLD, from ancient times." The fact that He was born at a particular point of time in Bethlehem proved he was a human and the fact that He was from OLD , "from ancient of days" proved He was divine, He has no beginning "God is eternal". He is, but that's not the good news!
I think we should stick to spreading the gospel of the Saviour saving the sinner by the willing sacrifice of Himself.
His divinity only causes unnecessary controversy. That's not what He asked us to preach.
The knowledge of and believe in His deity comes not by analysis but by revelation from Him.

Yes, Jesus is God, but the answer needs to be expounded upon. When we say that Jesus is God, we're using the term, "God," in reference to the divine nature. But we have to be careful because we don't want to say that Jesus is God and fail to understand that God is a Trinity. The Christian doctrine of the Trinity is that God exists as three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
So, we have to be careful when we ask if Jesus is God because we have to be clear in the answer. If God is a Trinity and we say that Jesus is God, then we are saying that Jesus is a Trinity. But that is not true. So in one sense the term, "God," can be used to designate the totality of God as a Trinity, and in another sense it deals with the divine nature.
The correct answer is that Jesus is both divine and human. In other words, He is both God and man. God has a divine nature, and Jesus possesses the divine nature as well as the human nature. This dual nature characteristic is called the hypostatic union.
We know that Jesus is God in flesh because the Bible says many things declaring this. For example,
John 1:1, "in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
John 1:14, "and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us . . . "
John 8:24, "unless you believe that I am, you will die in your sins."
John 8:58, "before Abraham was, I am."
Exodus 3:14, "God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
Col. 2:9, "for in him dwells all the fullness of deity in bodily form."
Heb. 1:8, "But of the Son he [The Father] says, 'You're throne, O God, is forever and ever.'"
After Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, Thomas, one of the disciples, doubted that He had risen. Jesus appears to him, and Thomas responds by saying to Jesus "my Lord and my God," (John 20:28). Jesus makes no correction to Thomas about this. Titus 2:13 tells us to wait for the coming of "our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus." In John 5:18, it says that Jesus "was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God."
It is clear from the Scriptures that Jesus is considered to be God in flesh, that is, He is considered to be divine. The reason is that without Jesus being both God and man, He could not make a sacrifice of sufficient value to please God the Father. If He were not a man, He would not be able to die for the sins of mankind.

Answer: The Bible never records Jesus saying the precise words, “I am God.” That does not mean, however, that He did not proclaim that He is God. Thomas the disciple declared concerning Jesus, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28). Jesus does not correct him. Titus 2:13 encourages us to wait for the coming of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ (see also 2 Peter 1:1). In Hebrews 1:8, the Father declares of Jesus, “But about the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” The Father refers to Jesus as “O God,” indicating that Jesus is indeed God.
In Revelation, an angel instructed the apostle John to only worship God (Revelation 19:10). Several times in Scripture Jesus receives worship (Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9, 17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). He never rebukes people for worshiping Him. If Jesus were not God, He would have told people to not worship Him, just as the angel in Revelation did. There are many other passages of Scripture that argue for Jesus’ deity.
The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death.

Disciples did not believe Jesus was God

Jesus himself at no time claimed to b God or equal to God.
He said at John 14:28 "You
heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I am" so how can he be going to himself if he was God or how can he be greater Dan himself.
He also said at john 5:30 I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him who sent me. So how can he be God himself wen he said he seeks not his own will BT d will of God who sent him.
John 17:3 also shows Jesus and God are two different entities when it talks about taking in knowledge of the only true God and who God sent which is Jesus Christ.
John 5:26 says For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted also to the Son to have life in himself. So how can Jesus himself b God when his own life was granted to him by God.
Ephesians 1:3 says Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for he has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in union with Christ" Here God is called the father of Jesus. To those saying Jesus is God, are u the same with your father?
Finally the Israelites in the old testament never for once believed that Jehovah God they worshipped was a 3 in 1 or trinity. They know and believed that God is one God.
Deuteronomy 6 :4 says " Listen, O israel, Jehovah our God is one God.
The trinity teaching of God being d same with Jesus did not originate from the bible nor did Jesus or his disciples ever preached it. Jesus at no time claimed to b God or equal to God as he several times called God his father and prayed to God and not to himself. Trinity teaching was an input of roman teachings into Christianity during d catholic era of roman emperor Constantine and he even had to call a conference at a city called Nicaea to make it legal where they den came up with d trash DAT since Jesus was God den Mary must be mother of God. That's y catholics till dis day still worship Mary as mother of God asking her to pay for them.
Jehovah and Jesus are two different people with one being greater than the other and Jehovah was so great that he could send Jesus his son to the earth. During the baptism of Jesus, God himself spoke from heaven yle Jesus was still in d water on earth.
