All applicant who submitted application few days after the recruitment portal was opened are advised to login to their profile, reselect discipline/specialisation and then re-submit. Some disciplines were removed from the portal so all of such application were reset( same reason your already submitted application became editable again).

Good evening all. I wish you all the very best, we are here again to guides you through, and welcome the successful ones to the Job.

Just apply with or without it, God can help u to make it. But advisibly use it if it's Available cos I heard that it will be of more advantageous to be shortlisted.

Good morning sir, please under which of the available corps can a Lawyer apply?

MrSuama:

It depends on the routine of the medical team.

The first screening I attended, we were made to sit on the dental seat and the dentist used a flat piece of wood( like the wooden ice cream spoon) to peruse the upper and lover jaw. One candidate I know of was dropped because of broken tooth or so. Reference 2012 NDA RC selection board.

DSSC 26 (2021 edition) selection board at falgore forest. Candidates were made to open their mouth with their teeth locked, the doctor in charge just sighted the locked jaws from a distance and it wasn't as tense as that experienced at NDA.

I can't say how this one would go.

No vex say nobody answer you on time ooo, most of the experienced senior men have left the thread.

Most veteran and applicant are tired due to the unfair nepotism /Godfatherism of the process of selection which is largely not free and fair.

With the insecurity in the country getting worse everyday , soldiers dying here and there. Shortage of RC officers on the battle field, drafting DSSC to do SSC and RC work,

If na you, you go apply? The Nigerian army has lost it.. there are way better things to do with your life

The more reason I think this DSSC is the way it is, very limited. Giving room for more SSC applications. All things equal, Na should take in more SSC

the corp you registered under had been removed, hence look for another corp that my go well with your area of specialization

What do u mean by something that may go well with one’s area of specialization. Are u sure this particular dssc will accept it?

Did u see on the instructions where they said corp is strictly by discipline/specialization.!!!

Person wey I rely on don comot for my back for this statement oo.

On my side, the corp wasn’t removed but the specialization was rebranded lol. When d portal freshly came up I saw my course of study nd I applied asap not until they upgraded, removed some corp nd discipline. I applied under ordinance corp nd I studied bio chemistry with an OND in sci lab tech. After the upgrade, I felt like to apply under explosive science/tech after carefully searching online the courses explosive science comprises of, which are math, physics, chemistry nd biology. My diploma nd degree even cut across all these courses now from layman language we have biological nd chemical explosives.

I have never even seen a degree in explosive science/technology here in 9ja oo but I can see foreign university offering it.

I am only thinking of the options they gave wic is
Explosive engineering nd here I am thinking chemical engineering can come in
And
Explosive science/technology where I think chemistry, industrial chemistry nd/or biochemistry can come in here….

But then I have heard from two people that spoke with two oga nd they said if actually a candidate discipline is not listed directed that there’s nothing like I’m holding a degree relatively relating to what was listed.

At this junction, I am confused either to proceed or halt….!!!

N.B: since 4 years I have been following this particular corp, chemistry, bio chemistry, chemical engineering, maths, physics nd the likes has been the basis of requirements not until they rebranded to big big names we are having now

I think they are looking for those particular courses maybe from even foreign Universities, If they don't get it then they can settle for the Chemical engineers, biochemistry etc. In my case i boldly saw Quantity Surveying my course under engineering corps which i choose but it's been removed. Every other courses like Architecture, Civil Engineering and Building Tech are very distinct specialization but similar. Quantity Surveying actually cut across all these courses including Civil Engineering but i just had to settle for Building Tech which i feel is the closest although still very distinct.

You re right bro. I like the point that if they don’t see what they are looking for they can settle for other options which i bet they can get what they are looking for conveniently. The registration has hit over 26k as at now.

What about someone who studied urban and regional planning. I think that course is also pertaining building and stuffs… Does he have a place under the engineer corp cos I heard of a candidate that was advice never to bother himself by one oga…..

The race is just getting intense nd strict…
