Sir alex Praise for new boys

Versatile players like Gabriel Obertan and Antonio Valencia are “invaluable”, according to Reds boss Sir Alex.

The new arrivals were unveiled at a press conference at Carrington on Monday, where the United manager was quick to sing their praises.

Chelsea was never really serious . . . they've got Drog-Anelka
And it's obvious that he had better chances of getting playing time at City.

Chelsea were neva serious to sign Tevez

U can't be serious!
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by Nobody: 11:25am On Jul 15, 2009
Well i Understand Tevez never really wanted to stay

Cos felt he wasn't treated well and all

But what i do not understand is why he a world class player will choose City

Money is now the password of most of this world stars

Rumor has it that ADEBAYOR may be Unveiled within 24 hours.
Re: Manchester United Fan Thread by tkb417(m): 11:27am On Jul 15, 2009
TKB
Tev didn't go to City for the money only. He went firstly for the chance to be sure of a starting place. Remember his grouse with Fergie first started when Berba arrived and he had to be benched repeatedly like he was some dude from Stoke on loan. Twaz after that that the issue of his wages came up.

I think Fergie didn't really want to keep him.  .  .was probably thinking he could get 'em Benzema et. al at that time. Tev's case isn't like Ronaldo's. Ronaldo already had his entire being set on Madrid. Tev, on the other hand, wanted to stay but Fergie didn't think the dude deserved all he asked for. So, he had to go where he was certain he would get all he wants - a first team shirt and a substantial pay rise.

Will definitely miss Tev, but I don't blame him. Your club is your identity.  .  .if you're not satisfied there, what's the point? Besides, he always gave his all whenever he wore the red shirt, headless chicken or not.

Looking forward to having him scare the liver outta Vida and co.  This season will definitely be interesting, both the EPL and La Liga
and is tht the reason why he shld disrespect the coach with all his bollocks?
SAF doesnt/didnt want him i agree so cant he just shut up and play for his new club?

SAF decides who he wants and i give my support

Seriously am not ecstatic about Owen but we shall see . . . . . . . . .  Well now that Benzema is gone who else is there for us to buy?
We need a striker!! 'cant rely fully on Owen.
I hate Real Madrid right now . . . . . . . . buying every good thing off the market!
this is how we begin our season everytime
wrong premises and assumptions that we wont do well and at the end, UTD wil nick it again

you know why im ecstatic?
~We have been ruled out of the title race even b4 the ball is kicked cos of the departure of Tevez and Ronaldo
~We have been accused of buying rubbish players
~ we couldnt even get the players we wanted

The verdict by everybody includes
~Owen will be a collosal waste of space
~ UTD will fire blanks cos of the absence of Ronaldo
~UTD will not win the league
~UTD will struggle without Ronaldo as we are a one man team

I'm so so hapi we are in this situation. No pressure from nobody

BUT, if we win this league, i'll call on the Sports Arbitration people to come and dissolve the EPL and take us (UTD) to la liga so we can start competing with the real teams

Fingers crossed cos i know Owen will impress, UTD will go for the title and probably win it and also impress in europe

so naysayers, watch this space

He is out of the injury room and will be playing pre-season soon, while Hargreaves is about to spend his SECOND season of full injury. sad

The squad flew to Asia for the pre-season games.
It's only fair for the fans in Asia to catch a glimpse of their darling team, isn't it?
Don't worry. . . . .United are participating in the Audi cup tournament scheduled on the 29th of July.
We would be playing Boca Juniors and that useless Nazi team. . . . . .At last, Nani has a chance to disgrace Phillip Lahm. grin

I am confident Man Utd will do well this season.
It is up to our rivals to step up the gear and close that gap.
Pre-season games with Boca Juniors, Bayern, AC Milan and Valencia should help fine-tune the lads.

Everton couldn't beat United's 2nd team in the FA semis. . . .  .
I don't even care what we do with the other BIG 3 teams in the EPL.
If United can concentrate on beating the smaller teams like they did last season, they would win the title again.
Of the 72 points available against the last 12 teams in the Premiership. . . .United copped 70.

That is what we need to do again this season.
