Christianity EtcRe: You Want 10% On My Gross Income ? Daylight Robbery !!!! by 2buff4Mods(m): 6:30pm On Jun 04, 2011
I have no issues with the context of tithing. What I do take offense with in a deep way is the low-ballism some ministers go about it. But then again it is not their place to read your bible for u. U should do that on your own and judge what someone else tells u.

If anyone wants to know everything about tithing, there is a Full chapter dedicated to it in Deuteronomy 26. Oinstead of all these one verse lowballism and truncation to further agendas.

There a whole chapter tells u what u should actually be doing if it is tithe u say u are doing. And it all doesn't go to church. It can go to church, widows, families in need etc.

^^You lack the ability to empathize.
As you probably have a dad or equivalent in your life, you would probably not understand.
Nairaland GeneralApologies And Goodbye by 2buff4Mods(op): 3:56am On May 29, 2011
Alright Seun, 2Buff apologizes and really wasn't trying to get you banned from one or two things. He actually had good intentions when he created that thread. This is not a request to recover 2Buff's account as he won't be needing it anymore. He's pretty much had enough of this foolishness.

However, I DO consider what you did terribly poor moderation (A trademark of your forum these days sadly). First of all, you don't have any such warning in your forum rules regarding such threads. Secondly, I'm sure you're not so morbid as not to see the good intent behind the thread, even though it wasn't helpful. You could have deleted the thread and simply sent 2Buff an explanatory message or something as to why the thread was a bad idea instead of just outright going for a ban.

. . . oh wait . . . Nairaland doesn't even HAVE a private messaging system.
You got your work cut out for you m8. Don't you think it's time you sorted that out? as SMF definitely has a PM feature.

Good job thus far, but you seriously need to step this game up man. It's pretty much mediocre at this point.

Best of Luck.

Then you are having a relationship with a girl that lacks wisdom. Sadly. this lack of wisdom will manifest in other things in her life.

Fine she may feel like she isn't doing anything wrong, and in certain circles she would be seen as correct, but wisdom (and her applying it) would have made her cut that crap short, especially with you there.

that other bullshit i was talking about is still correct though. How's a woman gonna juggle the domestic ball if she justifies her lack of home-training behind feminism ?

RomanceRe: Men Cooking For Women! by 2buff4Mods(m): 9:17pm On May 27, 2011
For a man, also, I think if he is without a job and sits home all day and it is still the woman (who pays the bills) that has to come and cook/clean/etc, then this man is an embarrassment. It is supposed to be a partnership.

Both should be capable of keeping the balls in the air, no matter what ball it happens to be.
huh

I read these comments and smh

Forgiveness is owed to ACCIDENTS - that's what I forgive

INFIDELITY is not AN ACCIDENT - that is an intentional act that the sinner needs GOD TO FORGIVE - NOT ME.

I can't forgive it - for me it is UNFORGIVEABLE - if you cannot pledge your loyalty to my camp - we aren't evenly mated and YOU AND I NEED TO MOVE ON.

This i say with a very clear conscience.

People - I tell you - if you don't stand for something you will FALL FOR ANYTHING.  You serve God OR YOU DON'T - there is no gray shaded area - it is black and white.

If you are sexing more than one person why are you in a relationship?  I had a female friend who loved to sex different men and used me as an alibi - telling people she was spending the evening at my home or was with me at different events and she actually was with the different men.  I had to disengage and cut my ties with her.  I don't date or befriend cheaters - neither MALE OR FEMALE.
There's a difference between forgiving and continuing.
You should forgive them, otherwise you make yourself and anyone else you meet later on a slave to what he did.
However, you don't have to continue in the relationship.

LOL. My first toasting. WOW.
I don't think I ever wrote a love letter. I just Couldn't be arsed.

Quite a while back. Met her, struck up a normal conversation.
Then I pulled out gum and offered it to her while making a joke about her having dragon breath.
A little embarased she took the gum (having also destroyed all her unneccessary defenses at this point).
I then told her she owed me for her fresh breath and I was going to collect on that payment whenever I saw fit.  grin

Those were funny days.  cheesy
RomanceRe: Why Am I Shy With Girls Am Interested In But Not Shy With Others? by 2buff4Mods(m): 6:02pm On May 27, 2011
Never put a girl on a pedestal, even the one your "flesh" likes.
This way her rejection or otherwise means nothing to you, and you're more empowered to ask her whatever you want.
and this goes to me being a feminist right  undecided
It goes to every woman in this day and age.
It's a rouse to rekindle feminine values, care and ability that are nigh abolished today in the name of feminism.

I've got no problem with women being feminists, they just shouldn't use that as an excuse to be useless.

A woman who knows how to hold her own AS A WOMAN and doesn't look for ways to justify her laziness and apathy with feminist dogma is ALWAYS a much better deal.
RomanceRe: Please Help,i Don't Want To Kill Her! by 2buff4Mods(m): 5:22pm On May 27, 2011
I don't really understand people who tell someone that they aren't interested, and yet start growing a tumour when the other person they rejected decides to move on with their lives.

Do some people just enjoy being slave-masters/slave-mistresses of other people's lives?
From your post, it seems you "released" her to get on with her life and "marry who wants to marry her" as you are not ready.
I believe she is working towards just that.  undecided

Except you're just angry about feeling like a mugu about all the other things you're helping her to do, which is understandable.
But for her moving on to get other men, you really don't have the right to be vexed about that.

---

EDIT: Ah glad to see it's all sorted out then.
RomanceRe: Do Men Really Forgive & Forget? by 2buff4Mods(m): 5:11pm On May 27, 2011
Unforgiveness has landed more people in hell than you can count.
Ask God to help you when you know you cannot forgive with your own power/mind.
