Who is saying that. Have you come to see eleme road in Port Harcourt? You will be amazed at what this government is doing Thedon22: I thought some Obidients said Tinubu is not doing anything in the SE. May God save us from the propaganda of those Obidients. Is this how to make Obi win election? Later they will come and say it was a stolen mandate. I have been asking them to post Obis roads Vs Tinubus current roads they can't. Presidency should be based on performance and not morality. Ask Obi to talk about his projects when he was gov and he will start saying when China went back to China. And how he washed dirty toilets. Tinubu is not telling us cock and bull stories but delivering results. Abi Umahi no bi from your region? Smart Tinubu, Omo ina lanran sina.(you send son of fire to fire). If this much construction is going on in the SE that did not give hi their votes imagine what is happening in the SW and NW where he got most of his votes. When will Obi show us pictures of the roads he built when he was Anambra gov and stop talking about China and washing dirty toilets?

Politics › Re: Price Of Nigerian Petrol Makes Smuggling Into Neigboring Countries Attractive by 2packer(m): 7:22am On May 25, 2025 |
aribisala0: There could be harm . Could being the operative word consider the following 1. Even if there is no subsidy the market is not totally unregulated that means that dealers cannot sell at any price they like. There is a markup limit set by regulators. so it is not a perfect market
2. Depending on exchange rate and purchasing power dynamics as well as their own supply and demand issues . Our neighbours may have a greater tolerance for and capacity to pay much higher prices than us. In fact anecdotal evidence suggests that is the case. Potentially that would reduce the local supply with risks of scarcity and disruptions
3. So if there is no restriction on export to our neighbours then we effectively become one market which is not necessarily bad or something I oppose but if we choose that then it must be intentional based on analysis , understanding and clear trade framework whether within ECOWAS or bilateral . A bigger market will mean overall more aggregate demand
4. There is nothing stopping Dangote from doing that from Lekki to Benin , Togo , Ghana etc. Why should petrol be transported by trucks across our infrastructure to end up in Niger or Mali let us not forget that they have opted out of ECOWAS. If that is to happen I think there should be some kind of Tariff or charge for that and would have thought so even if they were in ECOWAS. There should be a road tax for trucks taking petrol from Lagos to Burkina Faso if such was actually happening
So talk of smuggling is not BASELESS as you call it they should pay us = drop something Thank for this beautiful write up but let me respond to paragraph 3 and 4. If govt want to restrict export they should do it buy getting the customs and border patrols to do their job and not by raising pride to further suffer Nigerians. As for your road tax suggestion. The tax is an apt idea but should not be on all trucks in the country. It should be placed only on trucks crossing the border to neibouring countries. Make them allow Nigerians breath abeg. 850 naira per litre of fuel is way still beyond the reach of nigerians |

How does this smuggling affect us negatively for God sake. It inky increase the market share of fuel producer which is a good thing. We don't have fuel ques and dangote has not complained that he is short of products to service the nigerian market. If some persons are pained that our neighbors are buying from us. I suggest they build a fuel depot close to the border and be selling g for export for profit from there. Make them allow our fuel to be cheap abeg. 850 naira is still wayyy too high Babaolose: That is Nigeria, we in the country complaining about high price, still some were using the opportunity to snuggle the product out. What do we expect the government to do now? Our customs are trying their best, but still there are some bad eggs. Only God can save us. |

Please don't call it smuggling, call it individual export. Because they buy from dangote who government is not paying subsidy and then they sell to our neibouring countries with a slight mark up. How is that governments problem. Are they no suppose to be happy for the people doing the business by ensuring that they pay their fair share of taxes. This matter na waloo inoki247: Lol I don't have any excuse I'm just telling you selling to the neighboring countries will give more gain to most marketers due to the exchange rate...
Unless Dangote Flood doz Market directly himself the smuggling will be useless... |

Now everybody can rest but for this man to further cement the doubters, I would suggest his shows them his date of birth certificate and his result certificate. Am glad this conspiracy is finally coming to a halt UncleSnr: A public affairs analyst, Durojaiye Ogunsanya has waded into the controversy surrounding President Bola Tinubu’s certificate from the Chicago State University, United States of America.
MEDIA TALK AFRICA reports President Tinubu’s credentials have been the subject of controversy, especially among members of the opposition parties who are looking for loopholes to get the President out of office.
A section of Nigerians have been wondering why the former Governor of Lagos State cannot point to anyone as his classmate while in the institution.
The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar had also approached a court in the US, seeking access to the credentials of Tinubu at the Chicago University.
However, according to a video clip making the rounds on social media, Ogunsanya during an interview with TVC News, affirmed that the President and himself graduated the same year from the University in 1979.
He said, “We met in the school, Chicago State University and we were in the same department, College of Accounting Business and Administrative with a major in Accounting and we were in the same class together and we graduated.
“He did attend the University and he graduated in 1979 in the same year as I did. I am here to testify that he did attend University and he was a good student.
“I’m here with my Diploma, for the world to see. We graduated together from the university, I just want to set the record straight not for any gain or favour”.

Why are you quick in quoting bible verses you are not grounded and can't explain. Please show me where a certain prophet says in your book that anyone that speaks ill of him should be killed and I will in all honesty convert to a Muslim and attend jumat service today BnQoyyim: If you can show me in the bibles where Jesus (PBUH) addressed himself as Lord and Savior, then, i would be very much ready to worship in the church this coming Sunday. Jesus addresses as the PROPHET in the following biblical verses.
Deuteronomy 18:15
“The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your countrymen, you shall listen to him.
Deuteronomy 18:18
I will raise up a prophet from among their countrymen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.
Acts 3:22
Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brethren; to Him you shall give heed to everything He says to you.
Acts 7:37
This is the Moses who said to the sons of Israel, ‘God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brethren.’
Matthew 21:11
And the crowds were saying, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee.”
Luke 7:16
Fear gripped them all, and they began glorifying God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and, “God has visited His people!”
I have many more and ready to give you upon request, brother. |

And this one that you are quoting this Bible verses to encourage hate and destruction is not blasphemy to you ba? Please try and reason before acting some times. Christians in Nigeria are calm and some people like you purposely do things that will make them religious extremist. When they finally become radicals, please remember you push them into it and they might do more than just throwing bombs. Please let's be guided with our utterances BnQoyyim: HIJAB IS EMPHASIZED IN THE BIBLES. 1 Corinthians 11:5, says that “Every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonours her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.” Emulate Mary- mother of Jesus.
VIOLENCE IS PREACHED IN THE BIBLES 1 Samuel 15:3 Go, now, attack Amalek, and put under the ban everything he has. Do not spare him; kill men and women, children and infants, oxen and sheep, camels and donkeys.
Matthew 10:34 “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.” |
