hamouston91: No, just like saying the Economic minister gets Nigeria out of this mess, by paying of our debts and making naira 50 / 1 dollar, and then someone credits Buhari for the achievement, Buhari, not his Government. The dude I replied was actually giving the credit to Obasanjo, making it seem like he was an economist and was responsible for the debt clearance. Give honor to whom it is due, said the Zik of Africa. I understand you, but who takes the blame/credit of the Economy situation of the country, the President or the minister |
Politics › Re: The Only Man Who Could Had Made Nigeria A World Giant by 2special(m): 5:52am On Apr 16, 2022 |
hamouston91: Nigeria at that time was the biggest debtor nation in Africa, So big was the debt we owed that even the US, UK and Germany refused to borrow us money. Obasanjo wished to get rid of Nigeria’s debt. So he hosted World leaders and begged them to help us clear our debt, but they didn’t so he had to hand the case over to Okonjo-Iweala. Okonjo-Iweala was also working her World Bank connections, to have Nigeria reclassified as an IDA-only country from a blend country, officially receiving both IDA (International Development Assistance) money and IBRD (International Bank for Reconstruction and Development) commercial loans. In fact, the last time that Nigeria received any IBRD money was in 1993. With the help of a research paper written by Todd Moss, Scott Standley and Nancy Birdsall of the Center for Global Development, Nigeria was so reclassified, which made it much easier for the Paris Club to grant debt relief. The next time the G8 finance ministers met, Nigeria was prepared. Okonjo-Iweala took on the job of persuading her old World Bank boss, Caio Koch-Weser, now at the German finance ministry, while president Obasanjo also worked the ministers in concert with Gordon Brown. The official announcement emerged at the end of June: Nigeria would pay roughly $12 billion to settle, once and for all, its $31 billion in Paris Club debt. Nigeria will be the first country to buy back Paris Club debt below par, and the enormous reduction in its debts will be a lasting legacy of Okonjo-Iweala's term as finance minister. During her first term as Finance Minister of Nigeria, Ngozi arrived at her desk to find a weighty $30 billion owed. With oil prices on the rise, she stopped having to plead with her creditors and bought a massive chunk of her own debt so she could cancel it herself. As if to make a point. She became a legend in that moment. Humor and joy spill out of her, which can belie the fact that she’s got one of the toughest jobs on the planet — how to ensure that the tens of billions of dollars earned each year in oil receipts go into productive usage, like agriculture, infrastructure, health and Rd. Come on, how can an educated person say that a retired Military leader without a college degree, was responsible for getting rid of Nigeria’s debt. What did he know about economist. Ngozi was an Economist, a world Bank fellow and she cleared Nigeria’s debt, not the Retired soldier who never attended a University (Just like Buhari). Get your points accurately next time . what was Ngozi doing during Jonathan regime |
Politics › Re: The Only Man Who Could Had Made Nigeria A World Giant by 2special(m): 5:42am On Apr 16, 2022 |
hamouston91: Wrong! Obasanjo did not pay off Nigeria's debt, rather his Minister for Finance Mrs Ngozi Okonjo Iweala was responsible for all the efforts that led to Nigeria’s debt cancellation. Our debt was 30 billion dollars and 18 billion us dollars was forgiven thanks to Ngozi Okonjo iweala . It was not paid! So tell me how he was lucky Just like saying, we should blame the present Economic minister for the economy situation of the country instead of the President |

Career › Re: How Your Temperament Affects Your Career Choice And General Performance. by 2special(m): 11:38am On Apr 15, 2022 |
DukeNija: The second temperament is:
The Choleric Adolf Hitler, Winston Churchill, General Buhari. These are cholerics, but wait, they all have something in common. They are also all Leaders.
Cholerics are natural born leaders. They are dictators, rule givers and hardened/wicked controllers. They Lead, others follow.
Your boyfriend that never really changes his mind until you have $ex with him as bribe is most likely a Choleric. They are visionary Leaders and administrators. The Bishop that slapped a 'witch' is most likely a Choleric. They are the no-nonsense people who always believe in themselves.
They are very very optimistic, goal-driven and purposeful. Never loosing sight of their target. They easily get angry at the slightest provocation and can NEVER forget a harm done to them as well as a favour they owe.
They hardly accept correction, always carrying their I-Know-It-All attitude everywhere. Infact they don't even listen, not to even imagine considering your opinions on a task.
They are perfect planners, organisers and administrators as they are forged to lead the pack. They do it effortlessly. They are not very emotional. If you never really enjoyed your moms love and affection as a child, because of her strict and I don't care if you cry to death attitude, forgive her, she's most likely a Choleric.
If your Cheat on your Choleric fine and loving babe, you don enter. She will not only breakup, but see you as a low life and untrained dog who cannot control his kini.. She will never forgive you lai lai.
Cholerics are the strongest, most disciplined and most composed of all temperaments. They are good people managers and can 'use' people wella. They are good decision makers and are always Workaholics. Think Gov Fash. They are extremely impatient, angry and intolerant. Think Anger, think Choleric. A Choleric woman will no doubt control her husband except she is a well trained, well mannered, dedicated and good wife.
They hardly have friends, having hurt or scarred most people they know, they are usually the most hated in the class, or group. They hate to work with people, and believe that they must have it their way or you go the highway. They care less what you think and can use hate to destroy their homes and relationships. They are definitely not the worst people, it just that they are very strong people. They are very very Confident and Charismatic people.
next is the Melancholic... werey, the scammer |

Radionigeria: Good morning nairalanders.
Phone ringing. "caller: salaam-alaikun, me: wrong number and call ended" this is what i go through everyday.
For the past 5years, i've been trying to explain myself to this hausa number calling me that i'm not adamu or musa. But the more i explain to him, the more he calls.
Sometimes, i will just be insulting him when ever he calls to just let me be, that he is disturbing my peace. But immidiately i hang the call, he calls back again.
This time, someone said i should tell him ba hausa, Ba wrong number. So, i said this to him for more than a thousand times now, i even add words to it like; ba malekun, ba stop calling me, but this man refuse to hear.
I've thought that wasting his card would help, so i will just pick his call and leave it silent without saying any words, but this man will end the call just to call me back.
I'm just immagening what he is gaining to calling me everyday without getting the response he needed.
please, what more can i say to this man, i need help.. Port from that your Airtel line to another service provider |
