they lack ambition and foresight
Karlovich:
Most of them don't just care especially the English born ones, they prefer getting a few caps for England to playing a lot of games for Nigeria.

Lol, you won't blame them, my only problem with them is that when we approach them they lie that they are focusing on their club careers instead of saying they are not interested.

Nigeria national teamer Samuel Chukwueze won't be involved in UEFA Europa League action on Thursday, December 10.

The matchday six fixture between Villarreal and Qarabag FK scheduled to hold at the Estadio de la Cerámica in Spain has been postponed because the Azerbaijani champions do not have the minimum number of players available for the game.

Several Qarabag players did not receive the medical green light to feature in the game after testing positive for coronavirus.

Europe's football governing body, UEFA will decide on the future fate of the match in the coming days after contacting both clubs.

While Chukwueze is fighting for a regular spot in Unai Emery's starting lineup and has seen his game time reduced for La Liga matches, he is often utilized in the Europa League with four starts from a possible five in this season's competition.

Thanks to his match-winning strike against Sivasspor last week, the Yellow Submarine have already qualified for the round of 32 as winners of Group I, having accumulated 13 points.

Up next for Chukwueze and his Villarreal teammates is a La Liga match against Real Betis on Sunday, December 13.

The young man's touch is too heavy.... He places the ball too far from himself while running with it. in a tight knitted system like the EPL or SERIA A, he will find himself losing the ball too often. He has to work on that. That aside, he looks promising

If he learns to not hug unto the ball. Release it on time and use his pace and power off-the-ball, he would be devastating.

He needs to drop some pounds to be even more effective.

This is a winger that actually crosses the ball
If we get him in the team, Onuachu will get the kind of crosses he thrives on

Good player
Definitely deserves a closer look

Nigeria U20s captain Mike Zaruma is aware that victory against bitter rivals Ghana on Wednesday would put them in a good position to advance to the knockout rounds of the WAFU-UFOA Zone B qualifiers for the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Zaruma and his teammates are hoping to make amends after surrendering a one-goal lead right at the death to draw 1-1 with Ivory Coast in their opener last weekend.

"Taking only one point from the tie with the Ivorians was a tough one because we played better and created more chances to win the game," said Zaruma.

"We felt disappointed but that is behind us now and Ghana is the focus. We know that we must win to enhance our chances of reaching the knockout stage.

"I believe in what we can do as a team. We are ready to pick the three points against Ghana in order to make Nigerians happy."

The Plateau United defender has fond memories of the U20 AFCON as he was part of the squad that qualified for last year's World Cup in Poland, going the distance in all the five matches played by Nigeria during the tournament in Niger.

Yes but they need to go back to the drawing board. I don’t think they’ve done well today...even the penalty shootout was a mess.

They were lucky Futuro fc missed all their kicks. It was a disgrace.

U are lucky to have a team winning even when there is no league. Stop trying to take away from a monumental achievement. Both enyimba and Rivers did the impossible

If he had participated in the previous one why is he still eligiable for this one.

For someone who is getting these numbers in Belgium and unable to replicate it at the SE level, don't you think there's something wrong with how we're set up here.

The boy has flopped badly with us, it appears Rohr is finding it difficult to drop him, why not look for ways to Utilize him then?

He has not flopped IMO. If anything his teammates and coaching staff have been the people flopping. He has played 8 matches and scored one goal. Now tell me one big miss he has had in that time frame? 8 matches and not one sitter to talk about. That is the real story
