I don't think Michael Olise is ready to switch.i feel it just rumour or brain wash to me there is something they aren't telling us why is lookman and Ejaria taking longer time since 2019

Not forgetting that when these foreigners are playing well or turning out for the top clubs they reject us.

Lol, guy, Nwakali's time will come naa.

To be honest, Shehu has been doing well in Cyprus also. He has played about 30 games (making close to same number of starts - abt 27 or 28) as RB predominantly and then DM sometimes.

He was also crowned League Champion.

Shehu is not an AM, brother. We need creativity urgently. Rohr is stifling our style.

You are right Charles. My Contact to Rohr just informed me that Olise wasn't listed because of Passport issues. But to be honest, this is becoming confusing. Why didn't Rohr mention passport issues the last time he was asked about Olise on the standby list. Rohr only made mention of travel restrictions due to Covid.

Also, some reports emerged that the passport issue with Olise has been sorted but I can see now that is was a false alarm.

charlesemeka85:
he is yet to be issued a 9ia passport and without that he can't play for us

Just finished watching Abraham Marcus highlights (these are supposed to be his moments in matches). He is just going to be a normal squad player. Nothing special about him at all.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:14pm On May 14, 2021
Yes, I know. I was only making a case for Shehu without considering anything.

But to be honest, considering our need to raise the creativity level of our midfield, Nwakali would have been a good bet for invitation especially as Olise's passport hasn't been sorted yet.

As you know, I am Pro-Nwakali but I am not desperate to see Nwakali just yet. Let him finish the wonderful La Liga Smartbank season he's having and be assured of where he will be playing next season. His time will surely come.

Woah, ladies and gents, another notable absentee from this list is LEON BALOGUN.

Chukwueze is still nursing a Rectus Femoris (Quadriceps) injury yet was named in this list as reported by BBC's Oluwashina. Shocked not to see Balogun's name listed unless... Hmmm

Balogun is on the list..

Balogun is there Doc but seriously it's getting irritating that Lookman, Ejaria and now Olise's clearances are taking forever.

Rohr is not your problem.not up to 10% so ....we are doing federal character in team selection and ppl are screaming rohr....is it not obvious that the issue here is the corruption that is the nigerian system??...a coach that has given callups and debuts to many new, upcoming prospects...don't you guys think we should be asking the real questions...when his contract was changed so he has to drop his list to be scrutinized by your technical buffoon committee we all applauded now we de complain....

I've tried viewing the list with X 2000 magnification, unfortunately it's hard to see any.

Yes. Just checked twitter moments ago and found Balogun's been actually listed.

But in the list that came from BBC's Oluwashina, BALOGUN was missing plus I counted 9 defenders. Some confusion. Lol

A 21-year old who is playing his first season in Portugal 2nd division with Feirense after joining from Remo stars academy.

Meanwhile.... The list is actually made up of 32 players/names.

4 goalies as listed.

10 defenders as listed.

6 midfielders as listed (not all listed are natural midfielders sef).

12 forwards as listed.

Do the maths... It's 32 not 31. Na wa.

The mention of BALOGUN in the NFF official list makes it 32. Oluwashina's list was 31 coz BALOGUN was missing.

Is it not Nigeria. Inefficiency at work as usual. They always give excuses for everything. As long it has government control, just know that when they want it done, it would be done. Otherwise they will just be deceiving you. Checking the Nff list above, you'll see S. Ajayi appearing twice as Defender & Midfielder. grin

For me﹑if these 2 guys, Olise and Eze r yet to make up their minds,we should just bring in Nwakali n encourage him,
He will do better in green and white jersey than those guys .
