Alright I take that as No.

How about Simy?

Lol

Before you ask me about more of our forwards

No super eagles forward is world class ,but they are above average players now

Simmy is even a late bloomer ,imagine simmy scoring 20 goals or more for the next 2 season ? I will be forced to call him world class despite any team he is playing for

Remember vardy choose to stay at Leicester ,at age 29 there are offers from almost all epl big teams

Yes Suarez have always had a good World Cup

Remember that 2010 performance while he was playing at Ajax then ?

Then Suarez is certainly a world class player.

A natural midfielder should and must have some creativity to their game to be complete. Tackles and blocks are not the only features of a DM, those are the requirements of a CB.

Of course, I know some persons will bring up moments where Ndidi assited or played a nice pass but it's not a commonplace with him. I agree he has improved but I am not impressed, particularly with SE.

No a DEFENSIVE midfielder does not need to be creative. That is not their primary job hence why the "defensive" is in front of midfield.
Ndidi is fairly decent on the ball in addition to being a monster defensively.

He's not a regista/DLP and should not be judged as such.

Ok so if I understand you clearly, if Simy replicates this 20 goals feat over the next two seasons you still will not regard him as world class because he is a late bloomer. Am I correct?

When a DM lacks that extra creative instincts it hampers the flow of play and overburdens the AM responsibilities, except when you are playing a formation that suits him. Tielemans is there as a DLP for a reason.

Osimhen doesn’t need to achieve anything ,as far as he keeps on being constitent ,and if osimhen gives me 20 goals next season at Napoli and the following season then I might call him world class

Harry Kane has not achieve anything but he is a world class player

And Ndidi is there to break up play for a reason. DM are not required to have "creative instincts".
It's an added bonus for attacking teams sure but it's not a must.
That's why you have your Tielemans to progress play to the final third.

We struggle not because Ndidi was absent but because we don't have any DM. Rohr will not invite them and even if he did he will bench them , then convert a defender or an attacker to that position.

Against Algeria , Mikel Agu and the U17 lad were there but he started a defender, Ajayi. Don't act like you don't know Rohr is killing our darling Eagles.
Wilfred Ndidi is irreplaceable in that super eagles squad right. His our best defensive midfielder in that position. In his absent we usually struggle to play in the midfield or can you please mention any Dm better than Wilfred Ndidi in the national team set up

Consistent performances at a top 5 league.

Okay do you agree with Andrew's 20 goal metric below?

According to Andrew a world class player is any player that scores 20+ goals in any of the top 5 leagues for two consecutive seasons at least.

And by extension, if Simy Nwakwo scores 20 goals next season for Crotone he becomes world class.

You agree?

But , the problem with that is we don't have a Tielemans in SE to progress play , and unlike Oliseh , Ndidi doesn't possess that extra creative instincts to attack, from deep. That's why I have consistently clamored for the inclusion of a pure AM/DLP like Nwakali. Thats my whole point.

Well you don't necessarily need a Tielemans if you have good attacking full backs or even ball playing CB.

Ndidi's ball playing skills aren't as bad as you make it. It would be madness to say we drop our most consistent player because he's not peak xavi or pirlo on the ball.
We need the security he brings when he's playing.

Ndidi is easily top 5 DM in football today. It wouldn't be far fetched to say he's top 3 too.

Alright lads, so how come Vardy is world class by your definition?
His goals over the past five years in the premier League are 13/23/18/20/13.

He couldn't keep up with 20+ goals in two consecutive seasons (Based on your own standards for world class).

What are your excuses for him?

He is not irreplaceable because he is so great , but because you dont have anybody else readily available to fill that spot.

Why did Rohr invited the U17 lad and Mikel Agu but started a defender in that position ?

Does he respect our home grown players ?

Why is Nwakali still missing in the invited list when we are in desperate need of an AM ?

I doubt Rohr respect our home grown talents. He just put up with them because he has no choice.

You are stuck with Ndidi because Rohr made it like that not because in the over 180 million population of Nigeria we can't find a better player.
