Man of the match.

Victor James Osimhen aka monster machine!!!

Those key passes would have been an assist to him if they had played it well.

The first being the one he outrun Jonny Evans to get to

Osimhen: Air Victor Truly Takes off in 21/22

OSIMHEN walked into England.... into the midlands, into the Kingpower and walked out A King. cool

He leaves England tonight with his name on the lips of every English fan and journalist who saw the game. Now they will understand the Hypes. grin

He does have a thing for playing against English sides. Even his first UCL goal and top performance came against another English side in Chelsea.

Osimhen is a player several of the top English clubs will now covet after such a super Commanding showing against one of their own AGAIN!

The Monster Machine is cooking. My Boy, My man, My Monster is Balling.... and season is still young. We move...

75% of Osimhen's goals in European competitions have come in England.

Arsenal readying the 100 million.

Spare a thought for Ndidi. Bagged a red card but he had a fine Outing as well.
Only a few times, his passing failed him but he got himself back together and pulled off some fine Midfield displays both passing-wise and in his role as "the shield".
Anguissa and Fabian gave him a great battle indeed.

89% passing accuracy to show for his efforts. 2 tackles, 5 interceptions, 100% takeons (2/2), and won 5 out of 8 ground duels.

The momentum of the game had turned on Leicester and Ndidi gave in and got sent off.

The Naija Battle Royale of Europe lived up to the Hypes. cool

Well, i agree with the iwobi nacho swap.. But moffi is like the Lite version of Osimhen. I can either pair them both, Denis for Chucks, Ejuke for Simion or Kalu. Don't know if Sadiq, Awo and even the Denis would be called by our PHE teacher!

And the Seniorman.... Iheanacho. Oh what a pass. He spotted Barnes early and released him with perfect timing. The Vision, the timing of the pass, the weight in the pass. Iheanacho still got it in the creative department. Class is permanent.

And I truly cherished this moment between Nacho and Osimhen after the game. Two very special players. smiley

And Finally!!! Politano crosses at the right time!!!

Please who noticed that when Politano finally decides to have some sense and crosses a good ball when the opportunity arises instead of dilly-dallying like he normally does in many past games, it results in that Osimhen masterclass header.

Politano should see now how important picking his moments to cross the ball to his #9 can help lift the team.

And mehn....fine cross. Even finer header. Osimehn beasting and powering over Soyuncu to bag the Equaliser that drop the jaws of all English fans watching and brought mad delight to the Italians especially the South of Italy.

More of that Politano.... Crossing no be crime. So keep crossing!!!! angry

Insigne will never give him something to attack. Even when he just needs to send the ball across the face of the goal. Rather he will cut back to do his insgine goal. Nonsense and selfish insigne. Soon spalleti will put him up for sale.

Great analysis, but I actually don't agree that Ndidi imploded due to the shift in momentum as the reason behind his sending off.

Ndidi was red carded in that game because the referee wanted to assert control over that game.

In the 18 minutes between Osimhen's two goals, a foul was committed every two and a half minutes, compared to every 5 and a half before Osimhen's goal.

Despite this only one yellow was shown. After Osimhen's goal the ref handed two more.

Ndidi's attempted tug on Ounas (he didn't even catch him) at the halfway line was a free kick, nothing more.

Ndidi was carded because the ref was getting irritated at the escalating nature of the game not because Ndidi could no longer handle the intensity.
He had a teriffic game so no slander is allowed.
