I don't think Zlatan was invited to Sweden national team ahead of 2018 WC.

it was for this year Euro and am sure he his going to the world cup if Sweden qualifies

Awoniyi has both Nigerian parents and was born in Nigeria, I don't think he is eligible for Germany
Taiwo Awoniyi will get his chance again which am very sure.

The last call up was a surprise to him and playing against CAR was as a result of Onuachu injury but in training he was one of the best performers.

Awoniyi playing for Germany, rule it out,Awoniyi is a thorough bred Naija boy that grew up in Agbo Oba area in Ilorin and love naija like kilode.

You people are so dramatic... Ighalo is well experienced in African football and asides oshimen I don’t think we have any other forward better than him when it comes to playing against African teams. He has proven himself to be doing well and is performing well for his club as well. I am confident that subsequently players like Taiwo awoniyi and Term moffi will make it to the nations cup.
Let us just focus on qualifying for the World Cup right now.

Bro forget African football...Rohr rate Ighalo highly that's just it.

Osimehn,Onuachu and Awoniyi started what we all know as street football that is the most difficult brand of football.

The uproar generated by Ighalo recalled is not only on this thread,go to twitter etc is all over and it is simple...the bolded question is why inviting retired Ighalo when we have three young strikers performing week in week out.

I just hope Ighalo recalled would have a positive impacts on the team cos all we are praying for is success of the team regardless of any player invited by Rohr.

IF Germany thinks Awoniyi is their answer to the center forward position then it would be easy to steal him from us (though I don't see that happening)

there are lots of ways to get a citizenship of a country and one of them is by HONOUR.

Netherland almost captured Solomon Kalou (despite not having any tie to Netherland)

Sweden were once considering capping Alhassan Yusuf.

Just take a look at names u mentioned n compare ighalo to any of them.

Vardy failed in international football
Tessyy1701:

Vardy is not called by the 3-Lions but Calvert Lewin will always get called up bar any injury. Tell Me who is more experienced.. or they didn't need Vardy experience?

I think it was Bonaventure Kalou not Solomon Kalou.

Modified...yes you are right on Solomon Kalou,Johan Cryuff tried to persuade him.

Subzero man, everything depends on a coach.

Richard Owubokiri got a call up after long absent from eagles and scored a goal and Westerhoff refused to call him again.

Dimeji Lawal forced himself in with the aid of fans who were shouting his name at the national stadium,Westerhoff obliged and Dimeji came in under five minutes he made his presence felt with a goal and five star performance, after that match he never got a call again.

Good performance on a debut is 50/50 and coaches where aware of that so they always ease that pressure on a player, good coaches tells debutant to go out there and enjoy yourself.

Pls tell me what is Shehu doing with eagles again, just tell me.

That one is just justifying any rohr nonsense list

He will say shehu deserve a place on that team maybe because he did well on his debut ,just imagine mentality ,how is this one even different from rohr ?

Rohr's policy has always been clear, you earn your way into the SE team and you earn your way out, as bad as Shehu's club situation is he earned his way into the team with his brilliant performance on his first match for Rohr against (Algeria) and he has been solid whenever called upon

You earn your way into the team then you can become useless and still be on the team

Very Nice policy

Your response should have been ighalo cannot be compared to those players in terms of quality

And yes they where called in expense of younger talented players who are performing well

Yes, this as well.

actually Kalou has agreed to play for the Dutch team, it was at the die minute of his call up that the Dutch prime minister ruled out the call up, in her defense, she thinks Kalou might get an offer from a big team in abroad, and not too long Chelsea signed him.

LMAO..

I can't wait to see how this turn out..

One thing is for sure, Ighalo is only back because of Rohr's incompetence...That's all ..
He isn't th solution to the problem we are currently facing...And like a type gal incompetent coach,Rohr left the problem to chase shadows..

Solomon kalou wanted to play for the Dutch national team and he almost got their passport ,even van hasten supported his decision of going for a Dutch passport and was ready to take him to the 2006 World Cup but it didn’t work out that’s why he could no more stay at Feyenoord ,he rejected the chance to represent the Ivorians at the 2006 World Cup

Do we say Vardy had a failed international career.

Vardy got his first England Call at the age of 28 though a late starter who joined Leicester at 25 from Fleetwood. Most of his appearances were from bench and he had 7 goals.

Careers goals 390 appearances and 207 goals, what a sublime for a player that had his real professionsl career at 25 years of age.

Vardy retired and told Southgate that he can be recalled if there is injury problems cos this would give him the opportunity to start.

Yes you are right.I mixed things up with his elder brother Bonaventure Kalou cos I remember one Kalou nearly play for Netherlands.

Netherland home office rejected his application for citizenship and this really didn't go down well with Marco Van Basten and Dutch all time legend Johan Cryuff.

This guy is just talking off point. cheesy cheesy. What has those players not being wingers have to do with the fact that they were never given as much time as Nwakaeme?

He played for the most part on the right flank in that game as much as I can remember.

Better get your facts right. If I have my way, Shehu, Musa, Simon, Kalu, Ighalo would never make my 30-man list.

andrewbaba44:

So Maja, Dessers, Kayode, Junior Ajayi are wingers abi?

He was played out of posotion, why are you not saying anything about that part

Well you guys are satisfied with musa and co

Na just make rohr team dey play wuru wuru football and insha allah grin grin
