But come to think of it. How can a country have Emmanuel Dennis, Chidera Ejuke, Osimhen, Chukwueze, Taiwo Awoniyi, Ndidi, etc and you're playing such horrendous football. It is obvious something is wrong somewhere o. undecided

He can call both of them. Drop Samuel Kali and Simon Moses/Chuks

Very Funny. Even Emmanuel Dennis, with his current form, I cannot say categorically that he is better than any of these 3 wingers you listed. He needs to come again and play a full international game on African Soil and prove he is finally ready to break into this team. As for Victor Moses, it is still a NO for me.

Egbon have you watched Vicmo in the Europa league this season? Honestly he still has a good amount of skill left. Moses might not have the blistering pace of 2013 but his football brain and intelligence is still top notch and hands down better than any of our current wingers.

Icon4s:

For all these talks about the recall of Victor Moses, I will say ' Victor Moses of 2013 is not the Victor Moses of 2021/2022'. His pace and direct play really counted much for him then, just also like Ahmed Musa. That blistering Pace of Victor Moses is no longer there. I can bet he would struggle if recalled.

The current team is not lacking in number of wingers, so please, Rohr should focus more on integrating a more promising Emmanuel Dennis Bonaventure into the team. Instead of recalling Victor Moses.

At least Vicmo used to be heavily involved in our AFCON and WC qualifiers that year Boateng no do shishi for any qualification match just to come enter squad with him yeye sense of entitlement.

SerVik:

I also agree that the squad should not be closed against those who did not contribute to qualification, especially if those players were not invited during the qualification phase. But you have to agree that this Victor Moses case is similar to Boateng of Ghana, and who is to say he wouldn't abandon us again after the world cup?

The 19-year-old star has spent just 18 months in Sweden, but he has already made a big impression

Former Golden Eaglets Akinkunmi Amoo has clinched the award for the best young player in the 2021 Swedish Allsvenskan season.

The Hammarby forward beat Malmo’s Veljko Birmancevic and Hampus Finndel from Djurgadens IF to claim the same award that compatriot Alhassan Yusuf won in 2019 while playing for IFK Goteborg.

Så röstade @irma_helin i Allsvenskans Stora Pris pic.twitter.com/l0SDSsJlZx

— discovery+ sport (@dplus_sportSE) December 8, 2021

The Hammarby academy product arrived from Nigerian amateur side FC Sido in June 2020, but it didn’t take him time to get into the first team as he got his chance just three months later.

This season, he became an established player for the former Allsvenskan champions, making 29 league appearances out of a possible 30.

The 19-year-old did deliver, as he registered nine goals and five assists to help Hammarby to a fifth-place finish.

Amoo was part of the team that represented Nigeria at the 2019 U-17 World Cup in Brazil. He had three assists to his name in that competition.

Meanwhile, Amoo was not the only Nigerian that was recognised for their outstanding performance, as Norrkopings’ Samuel Adegbenro also clinched the best striker award after scoring 17 goals and assisting two in 30 appearances.

Where did you get this news from?

He lost the award to 23-year-old Veljko Birmancevic which doesn't make sense to me. Even the twitter post you quoted confirmed this.

He scored the same, and assisted more but still lost.

Damn average a player but do get some hypes here but I don't know why....Onyekwuru just need to sort things out before it is too late even chuba Akpom find Greek league easy.

Yeah very average player, imagine 2 goals contributions in 17 apps.

Just like Sancho, another average player, 2 goal contributions in 18 games.
Or that Hazard lad, damn average player, just 1 assist in 12 games.
Just look at that bang average Emmanuel Dennis, only 1 goal in Germany.

Before I forget, my man, that Chuba Akpom must be smashing it in the lowly Championship, innit? Oh wait...

That automatically puts him out of contention for the eagles job

You can see how rohr think has affected most of them

I guess he wanted xavi to say that Barca have no chance against Bayern

A reasonable Norwich city coach will tell you they can beat Chelsea and mancity

Like rohr like his fans ,clueless people
the problem with you is your thinking is narrow, it doesn’t have to be black or white. He can manage expectations, he was being an optimist instead of being a realist. PS: I’m not a fan of Groundnut Rohr

anytime the bar is raised higher Moses tend to struggle, see 2014 and 2018 WC. Bringing him back isn’t necessary IMO

Okay Sir,Onyekwuru is a superstar and I wish him well as a young man.

That's not the point, brother.

The point is don't malign a player only when they are down.

For example, I have watched Taiwo Awoniyi about three times, he's currently one of German's top scorer, but I still think he's an average player.

Despite Moffi's dry spell, I still think he's well above average.

But on your part, I don't think you've ever criticized Onyekuru during his good times at Gala, Anderlecht or Eupen.

But now that he cannot get a goal, he's damn average.

Rohr has always talked down about our team ,you think that is good ?

Why should xavi not say Barca will beat Bayern ?

No team is unbeatable bro no matter how good you are the underdog should always go with the mentality of winning

I am sure if they interviewed watford coach then and he said they will beat Liverpool ,you would have mocked him and say he isn’t realistic ,but he ended up beating Liverpool

Bruv which raised bar has he struggled at? Is it the AFCON? Even the WC you cited he was injured and didn't play much in 2014. Even his below par 2018 performance he still managed to score a goal and assist

His struggles in France reduced his value in my eye a bit. I think his problem has to do more with his attitude and not his talent level. I have seen glimpses of his ability that makes me think he can massively improve.

There are only three distinctions in football.

Below average. Poor
Average. Good
Above average. Excellent.

A world class player is an above average player who has performed consistently at the highest level.
An elite player is a world class player who has achieved consistent success at the highest level.

So I don't understand where you are headed, because I never said anything other than this.
