Eguaveon considered international experience (especially African football) adaptability to African harsh weather. He didn't want to go with broilers( Dessers, Akpoguma, Lookman, Bassey and Ejaria) the aforementioned players are post AFCON project

This man don come again ooo. Which one be broilers again biko?

I got your point but he must be better to put the duo on the bench or do you have any formations that will accommodate Nwakili,Aribo and Iwobi.

No egbon, they will not all play at the same time
Depends on the system the Coach wants to play
If he takes his chance, I see him benching Iwobi
Again it depends on how the Coach sets up the team

Haven't you observed how we struggle to move the ball from midfield to attack?

The last time Nwakali moved the ball from midfield to attack was for Alcorcon in Spanish second division.

Atleast he has the skillset
Dude may end up being on the bench
Atleast he offers something different from other midfielders

Eguavoen is gambling on Nwakili just like Rohr gambled on Maduka Okoye....hope it paid off but Nwakili am seeing it's 40/60....if he turns things around in Afcon I would be surprised.
Currently even the gamble on Okoye hasn't really paid off and he is still shaky at times.
When Ikeme arrived we all saw his qualities undoubtedly and Okoye is yet to give that impression on many Nigerians for the SE, his club career though has improved nonetheless. We can only wish the team good luck in Cameroon

I deliberately just didn't want to talk about him because I'm hurt too.

The fact is that: Rohr messed up almost all of these guys to the point where most of them lost confidence. They began feeling they weren't good enough. And it affected their psychological well-being to the point of trying hard to please him with various loan moves that didn't bear much result.

And Secondly, he needs to work harder and stop being comfortable in his comfort zone in Gala.

Ebuehi has to be the most disrespected player in the SE, he has been questionably left out of team lists before and players not up to half his quality invited in his stead now he is missing the Afcon because *checks notes* Shehu and Collins are better

When foreign born players declare to play for Nigeria they do so in the hope that they will be treated as fairly as their counterparts born here in Nigeria, I don't know what this says

I am not surprised with the way Austin twisted the list just to accommodate few of his Favourites or I will say those that their agents were able to play along the 9ja way because no right thinking coach will include a nwakali who’s last official assist and goal in Europe was last season also dropping an ever present akpoguma in the bundesliga for ndah abi Idah that plays in South Africa

I can’t wait for the afcon to start I swear cheesy
who would you have taken in place of Nwakali? We are actually short of midfield talent, I can’t even think of any high profile name. Even though I don’t think he’s special or bringing something that will take us to the next level but his inclusion isn’t such a bad thing.

He has not been creative this season based on his stats, and again why should we look past club status and form? The national team is not a rehab. I'm sure if Jack Wilshere was Nigerian he will still be invited for his creativity.

Apply this same energy and call for Iwobi to be dropped, because he has been poor this season. Hasn't he ?

Rohr didn't find Bassey worthy enough to play under him, but u wan dey blame Eguavon..

So pathetic cheesy
I definitely think Rohr would have dropped bassey , when Collins Shehu and Omeruo still dey alive.

Whatever happened to Ebuehi and Onyekuru is Rohr's fault. He intentionally smothered their chances.
