That is where I simplified it. Tiki Taka means passing the ball excessively but Guardiola hates thar idea because there is a reason for each pass and an aim to achieve something with it. It was not passing for fun.

This leads possession heavy football. However with an impact. I still term Tiki Taka as possession heavy football to achieve dominance on the field and in goals.

Styles that stem from it is what I termed variant.

Milner is 37 and still playing at the highest level , so also Ashley Young but Thiago is 38, then you have a JoΓ£o Moutinho , and Vardy all 36 but still playing at the highest level.

The key issues is that they are able to still play at the highest level and not just warming the bench in the best league in the world.

So why are most of our African players unable to maintain competitive high quality consistency after hitting 30, ❓❓

It is very competitive for young black English players to get picked. Yet you want mature African players to find it easy.

Ask Ahmed Musa and Ighalo about it.

He is still playing mostly because of Klopp...His contract expires this summer and Klopp want the board to renew it again...

All those African players will start and play 90 minutes till age 50 if they want to in their respective country's or continents league. So your point is invalid.

Ejuke did not even make the bench for a team like Hertha Berlin. Yet some peeps here want him to start in the Super Eagle. That guy plays street football, he needs to learn how to play professionally. Had it been he was able to utilize his skills effectively when he was in Holland there was no way three big teams in there will allow him to leave for CSKA.

Mostly, it's about the opportunity... Not all players get the same opportunity..

Once they check the lineup and a player is not listed. They will shout from mountain top about how bad the player is without verification. But when he starts playing week in week out, they will be silent like a lamb. undecided

Thiago Silva especially. Some will think its talent but we often forget about talent once a player clocks 30. Its now about experience and hardwork. I won't add discipline cos most of them live Alves no get discipline normal but will still deliver on the pitch.

Opportunity is another strong factor again
