Maybe you don't understand that football is a short term career. And the key 🗝️ objective is to maximize income.

When Awoniyi got that transfer to Nottingham for
£17 million, he would have got at least 10% that's £1.7 million in the bank then he has a 5 year contract, with at least £50k a week including increments , bonus, etc.

He has essentially secured his long term financial future.

them think say na every legendary and mercurial midfielder go like Dey collect 3500 every week 🤣

Tella, we can get.

Edozie, not so sure yet.

But you are right. Fiercer competition and more creative/attacking flank options with these two.

TheGoodJoe:

Edozie and Tella would have made a healthy competition in the Super Eagles.

Watching a full strength Manchester United against Reading FC.

First half is almost done and it's 0-0 both of them have two big lumps up front.

United will win but it will not be a walk in the park, Reading are at the lower end of the Championship Manchester United closer to the top.

Paul Ince is not necessarily your quintessential kick and rush manager, but not far off it. Anybody having Andy Carroll as your main striker says a lot.

Azeez on the bench and Ovie out of the picture, he has clashed with Paul Ince so he will be going somewhere else, his time is up with Reading.

I don't get it though...

Iheanacho - Hardly played in the league this season but won't leave LCFC and part of it is because he earns well at Leicester. Wont appreciate a paycut elsewhere. They call him useless and unserious.

Awoniyi - Awo is either in or out of the squad at forest.
Stuck in relegation battle with Nottingham after leaving Union Berlin who were doing well in Germany when he was there and are still doing well this season. But they say it doesn't matter, HE IS CASHING OUT. His financial future is secured. 😂😂😂

Then these lots should leave Nacho the hell alone naa. Pretty sure he earns more than Awo.

If the financial excuse can be given for Awo, then it might as well stand also for Nacho. Enough of the hypocritical approach to both issues.

It's really funny. 😆

Dey play, just dey play!!! Number 12!

Na d penalties wey m dey take give am confidence to dey talk.

Is it Osimhen that refuses to take penalties,or his team mates that refuses to give him. .
The coach supposed to give him that responsibility .
Anyways,he should keep working hard ,his time to start taking penalties will come.

Of course I have no problems with challenges. What i'm saying here is that Osimhen's reply feels like a subtle insult to someone he believes he's better than.

For saying talk is cheap? Abi does it have another meaning no one has spoken about?

If u have an issue with what Victor Osimhen said u should definitely have an issue with what Ademola said too. Imagine the backlash Lukaku would get if he had said that.

Imagine fool no knw say 70-80k pounds is greater than 3500 euros and even if nacho decide to accept half of his current weekly take home in another league and club he will still be very comfortable financial wise when he retires unlike maestro and his 3500 euros weekly pay

Na this kind thing turn am to egunje taking coach when em lobby em way to any of the national teams 🤣🤣🤣

I am just imagining Osimhen's response tomorrow.

Part 2 vs Roma.

This will push both to mad heights in terms of Goals this season. Hehehehe... our own close version of Ronaldo vs Messi? 😁

The difference is that one is given a fair chance while the other is not. No matter how good he plays the silly coach won't still play him! It is not hypocrisy but love for the player. Awo won his position back before his injury! Maybe he is waiting till they sack Rogers interestingly, he is the one saving Rodgers job. lol!

Well, if this is your take on the issue then the hypocritical approach referral doesn't even relate to you.

I mean, the hypocrisy here is this:

Both are in England. Both earn good in England. Iheanacho is possibly on a bigger pay than Awo in same league.

Awo gets more mins than Nacho but like LCFC, his side Forest's position in the EPL isn't secure just yet. 4 pts above relegation while LCFC is one point above relegation.

Yet, the same people who wants Nacho to leave his big pay day at Leicester are actually praising Awo for earning a move for bigger pay day even though his former team is doing far better than his current team.

That is the hypocrisy. Hope you get me. Lol

Game ended 2-0 in Atalanta's favor.

Today, He scored again and they lead 2-0 currently. He has been subbed out now on 82mins.

TBH I feel Osimhen's comment is more of "look at who's talking" than actual banter.

Nahh bro, it's important to understand context when it comes to yoruba, it just the same way guys brag about how they'll beat each other when they are going to onile's shop to play fifa.
