Naaah... Osimhen relishes challenges. Lookman laid down a challenge openly so Osimhen is also accepting it openly. Let the battle resume and I am tipping Osimhen to finish Tops.

Osimhen for the Copacannoniere!!!! 🔥🔥🔥

JohnBullMySon:

TBH I feel Osimhen's comment is more of "look at who's talking" than actual banter.

Whoever advised Awoniyi to trade Union of Berlin for relegation battlers in the Forest of Nottingham. Imagine Bundesliga table after Bayern Munich's third straight draw:

Bayern—37
Union Berlin—36
RB Leipzig—35
SC Freiburg—34
Eintracht Frankfurt—32

I pray Onuachu joins Eintracht this window.

IWOFA LENU in Yoruba land is insult and mostly used by women during verbal altercation.... Lookman replied yes to a question that will you pip Osimhen on goal chart does not deserve such replied.

Lautaro Martinez scored 2 against Okereke's Cremonese today to take his tally in the League to 11.

That's the same as Lookman has currently BUT... Lookman is in action now for Atalanta vs Sampdoria and has a chance to get closer to Osimhen in the goals rankings while trying to pull away from Martinez.

Time will tell. 😎

Yes you are right his family was in England These players are humans and they have reason for any action taken.Taiwo Awoniyi was shuttling between Germany and England to see his very young family when he was in Germany and also schooling in England.England offer came to him at the right time cos as a young family man there is need for him to be with his family.Just check out Moffi recent decision, sometimes we thought we know more than these players.

If this is the meaning, then that is a bit silly from Osimhen. Lookman is his countryman and they are not drawn rivals.

Did he threaten to beat him? There is absolutely nothing wrong with competition. If anything this will make the Super Eagles better

Zaidu Sanusi on the bench for the 2nd game in a row since his return to the matchday squad from injury 3 days ago. Coach not keen to rush him into action just yet.

His side Porto take on Sporting Lisbon in the Portuguese league cup final and they lead 1-0 after 20mins played so far.

Of course I have no problems with challenges. What i'm saying here is that Osimhen's reply feels like a subtle insult to someone he believes he's better than.

Although, I love healthy rivalry but the fact that osimehn had to say that in yoruba signifies “ill intent” and all these “Yes men” will succeed in detailing the guy career. Yes men are the absolute worst kind of people that you want to associate yourself because they will never scold you even when at fault. I have seen other players criticized here for lesser statement. BTW, I love healthy rivalry sha

Exactly my thoughts. I just googled the word and it feels insulting. At the very least, not your teammate in national colors.

Ademola Lookman for Atalanta in the first half.

5 shots taken. 1 hit the upright. 2 shots off target. 2 shots blocked.

He wants that goal BADLY. 😂😎

Note: His shot against the Upright led to Atalanta's only goal of the game shaa.

Osimhen is Lagosian and Ademola is Yoruba. What most of you are missing is that these guys are friends and teammates. Probably exchanging banters online as we speak.

Ademola will call him fake Superstar, I will show you who is boss. Osimhen will say, small canoe soap Baba cut for you and you think you are Messi. Probably sends some jabs in Yoruba to Ademola.

It shows no ill will.

Finito.

Maybe you don't understand that football is a short term career. And the key 🗝️ objective is to maximize income.

When Awoniyi got that transfer to Nottingham for
£17 million, he would have got at least 10% that's £1.7 million in the bank then he has a 5 year contract, with at least £50k a week including increments , bonus, etc.

He has essentially secured his long term financial future.

I will come in here to prevent you spreading some misconceptions.

The most important has to do with development. At the arrival of Gabriel Jesus, the debate here was should Iheanacho stay or leave. Many were of the opinion that Iheanacho should leave. They did want him to leave for genuine reasons. DEVELOPMENT.

I was of a different opinion and that is, Iheanacho will develop faster training under Guardiola, whether playing regularly or not.

My addition was, Iheanacho should stay with Guardiola, for a season or two, then leave to get playing time. The playing time is to demonstrate his development.

In the end, we saw it in Foden, who despite not playing regularly, developed into one of the rated players in the EPL.

The point was a season or two. Your joke is totally off the point.

Well he took your advice too seriously.
