Walsall are below mid table in English League two that's the 4th tier of English football.

And Leicester city struggled to beat them 1-0, that's not an accolade or a to celebrate.

They won...they progressed to the next round... That's something to celebrate..

If they make it far to the final, they will look back at this moment and remember Iheanacho played a part in it.... Like he did when they won the FA cup and community shield

Rogers has been overwhelmingly accomodating to KC much more than any other manager. From Rainieri to Shakespeare even in interm managers didn't rate him or have.much time for him.

Is it not time to look at the player and stop blaming the managers.

It's the January transfer window and who wants KC the most lethal markseams in Europe ❓

brutal fact!

Imagine lil Caicedo of yesterday is on the verge of getting a big move from Brighton to Arsenal/Chelsea while our maestro just dey play only passes for laliga 2 for the past 3 seasons now 😭

Does it mean no scout is noticing his midfield dominance in laliga 2? 🥱

Naaah... Osimhen relishes challenges. Lookman laid down a challenge openly so Osimhen is also accepting it openly. Let the battle resume and I am tipping Osimhen to finish Tops.

Osimhen for the Copacannoniere!!!!

Why can't both of them win it
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 1:08pm On Jan 29, 2023
Nothing is stopping that from happening either. Afterall, we saw this exact situation in the EPL in 2018/19 season with Mane, Salah and Auba all sharing the Golden Boot. An All African top Scorer cast.

'Saw the same again last season with Son and Salah sharing it.

So, nothing stops same from happening in Italy but I strongly feel in the end, Osimhen will nick it as standalone top scorer.

Overall, it's an interesting competition to watch till season end. The Copacannoniere race.

The logic of your argument has to come from comparing them. So I don't follow your "there's no comparison, just logic".

And I apologize to everyone including Jihday. I wasn't well aware of Daka's exploits. And the hat trick was kind of an exaggeration cheesy grin.

Interestingly, Daka actually buttresses our point. I thank him for bringing it up. The 24-year-old Zambian was rewarded for his previous performances. On the face of it, he's doing better than Iheanacho. For the record, Daka came in 2021. The man scored 5 in 6 Europa games( he scored 4 in one game, and Ihenacho assisted two of them). Daka's contributions per minute was definitely better than Ihenacho's in that tournament(remember they started together in many of those games).

In the premier league last/this season his contributions per minute are better too(although it's close for last season). So of course any reasonable coach would start Daka over Iheanacho if his shape requires one striker up front. If you need two you play both of them, at least in the secondary competitions. If you want to replace Vardy of course you choose Daka over Iheanacho.

Finally, it's not new that you have strikers coming in to replace the main striker and scoring goals. No coach who knows their stuff decides to switch their places unless it's consistent. Even in many cases, when you start substitute players they misfire. This means perhaps coming in as a substitute is how they can flourish.

Unfortunately for Iheanacho, he's a substitute of a substitute. Very sad. cheesy grin. And yes I repeat it again, Iheanacho is on a decline. A better player is getting more minutes. Very reasonable decision.

mostob:
There is no comparison, just logic. Since Nacho has to score hattrick against 4th tier side to impress you, why didn't Saka who started the match score too? Remember Nacho was just on for 5 minutes before he scored.

Well said. The Rohr of 2020-21 wouldn't even beat Guinea Bissau at the Afcon not to mention Ghana in a two legged WCQs.

The man was already tactically spent and clueless about how to approach even the minnows at home in Lagos.

Anyone still singing about Rohr in 2023 needs to see a shrink.

He has not been overwhelming anything! Brendan Rogers has been enjoying the best of KC in terms of goals and output yet he still benches him without giving him a decent run of games. Shakespeare and the former French coach I forgot his name all played KC in a decent number of games until it became clear to all and sundry that Iheanacho was performing poorly and deserved to be on the bench.

Under Rogers KC contributed massively to helping Leicester win the FA Cup.

Under Rogers KC finished as top scorer for Leicester across all competitions, second behind Vardy in the EPL that same season.

Daka, Barnes and Ayoze before he left the foxes barely crack double digits each season despite enjoying massive game time but you expect Iheanacho to perform miracles with 1 minute here, 5 minutes then claim he's underperforming.

Anyway what's my own sebi Leicester City have been banging in the goals left right and center since KC has been relegated to the bench. Make them they ride on.

una too like to defend certain players. Iheanacho hv been awful few times Rodgers have him a chance and the likes of aging Vardy,Daka and Perez before he left for Spain hv been than him

Iheanacho only shines against championship, league 1 and 2 clubs in the carabao and Fa cup

Bro no be by argument I bring facts. KC in one season has scored the same number of goals that Perez scored in the EPL for his entire time in the league. Iheanacho in one season playing 26 games scored 12 more than Daka who has scored a total of 8 EPL goals in 40 games so tell me how are they better?

Vardy is obviously class but 7-8 years no has scored more goals than him across all competitions except KC.

The 12 goals wey KC score for EPL 2 seasons ago na championship team he score against?

Yeah I agree he scores against cheap teams in FA Cup like Man U, Southampton and Aston Villa.
