we really need to have him arrested.
not just enough to police him....
he is getting on my nerves...what's Oliver kind of a referee with the super eagles thread.

I wonder oh. There are many threads specially dedicated to European football discussions but he chose to talk about it on this only thread dedicated to the Super Eagles. Some people just love wahala.

It seems it may be more than a rumour , Cardiff are very much interested in Efe plus a number of Championship clubs.

This is a player that has been written off as expired goods by many here. But he has been one of the most outstanding CB's in the Scottish premier league. Many young pretenders have been considered better than him by many here.

If for instance he then signs for Cardiff an EPL club will that give him a call up to the SE. Even if he wins multiple MOTM awards l still think he will be forgotten.

I am not sure why club form doesn't always translate to SE call up, particularly top leagues and or club's.

England Call-Ups For Chelsea, Tottenham Goalkeepers Of Nigerian Descent
Published: January 15, 2019
England U16 coach Kevin Betsy has handed call-ups to two talented teenagers of Nigerian descent for the ongoing Mercedes-Benz Aegean Cup holding in Turkey.
Chelsea youth-team goalkeeper Kelechi Chibueze and Tottenham Hotspur starlet Tobi Oluwayemi, who is also a goalkeeper, were summoned for the prestigious youth tournament.
The Young Lions are pitted against Albania, Moldova and hosts Turkey in their group, with the final slated for January 19.
The two goalkeepers have caps for England U16s. The Chelsea wonder boy was a member of the squad to the Val-de-Marne Tournament while Tobi was first choice at the UEFA Development Tournament in August 2018.
Although the two players have yet to debut for their respective teams in the U18 Premier League, they are key members of the U16 teams.
Noni Madueke (PSV), Armstrong Okoflex (Celtic) and Daniel Jinadu (West Ham) represented England U16s last season.

You are usually more astute than this with reference to the bold. Sheffield Wednesday are 16 in the Championship table 9 places from the bottom is that what you call facing relegation

I am confused

Why Should they even start the league few days after that tedious Super 8 tournament. At least they should have waited till next weekend to allow the newly promoted teams travel back and have enough rest and practice before the season starts.

Now some teams will be 2 matches behind. This is not tidy at all. Again they have started on a wrong footing. angry

Sorry for replying very late, they want to end the league in May before the Afcon

Ok thanks bro. But they better tidy up the match deficits in good time to prevent match fixing at the later stages of the league.

Bordeaux picked their second win of the year by beating Angers SCO 2-1 away from home with their Nigerian forward Samuel Kalu scoring the opener in the game which finished in dram‎atic fashion, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.

Kalu was on for 69 minutes in what was his 15th appearance of the season and the 21 year old scored his second league goal of the season when he stabbed home a cross in the 31st minute to put his side ahead.

His strike was cancelled out in the 64th minute by Mateo Pavlovic but just when it seems like the game was heading for a draw, Yann Karamoh popped up with a winner in the final minute of the game to clinch all three points for Bordeaux.

The win moved Bordeaux to 11th on the log standing of the French Ligue 1 and also helped them return back to winning way after the 1-0 win they suffered against Nice On Saturday.

For Kalu he now has two goals in his last three games for the club in 2019, a sign of how well he has settled down at the club he joined in the summer from Belgium side Gent.
