Coach of the Nigeria senior national team Gernot Rohr has revealed to his close aides and associates on the reason why Ogenekaro Etebo and Victor Osimhen, were dropped from the list of invited players for the World Cup qualifiers tie against Zambia.

I did not say Rodgers is the saviour. I said Nacho should look on the bright side of being dropped by getting to work with Rodgers. How that equates to Rodgers being the saviour beats my imagination.

I don't think he should be called to the national team at this time. He should be allowed to be around his mom and family. This must be a traumatizing time for all of them and I pray that the damages both physically and emotionally are not life altering.

I understand ur view. It can be very traumatizing especially for a young man his age. However, the game is a couple of weeks away and he may have gotten over it by then. Remember Mikel played a WC game while his Father was under captivity. People are different though.

It is left to him to decide whether he can still play or not.
