They played with their best players and intention was to beat Nigeria. I rewatch the match today.

Ukraine wanted to win that game but they only got a draw its simple and clear

Peeps Putting trust on Osihmen to lead the line. I laf. The dude will be bullied & bullied until he will beg to be substituted. Best bet is bring him in when opposition defense is already tired.

Every professional player crosses the touch line onto the pitch with the aim of winning. However the appetite to win can vary depending on the circumstances facing the team at that point.

Of course you would agree that a team facing elimination will find an extra 10% output from somewhere if that is what they need to save themselves. If they don't need to they will still play at near 100% and to viewers like yourselves you may draw the conclusions you just did.

Let me see your 3-5-2 formation

Yes

Someone should not come and say Ukraine don't want to win because they have qualified ,I can only beleive such if it happens in African club sides

Even Brighton wanted to win mancity during the last day of the Epl season ,me that was supporting mancity I was scared

Wolves also wanted to win Liverpool

And both teams is fighting for nothing ,that's the spirit of football

Levante spoiled Barcelona unbeaten in laliga last season by beating Barca 5-4 ,the same levante team is not even close to relegation but they played as if their life depends on the game

Why is the attack blunt?

Ighalo and Onuachu are not strikers with exceptional abilities. Osimhen though talented but is still young and still much work in progress.

I know people may want to blame it on supplies from the midfield and wings. But, even with the quality of our Wingers and midfield, our attack is not something to brag about.

You can have 14,16 year old giants

But you rarely have 12 year old giants, I think they start sprouting from 13

Victor is good enough to lead the line. He has no fear and is always willing to run through a wall for his team. In fact I would be comfortable with any of the strikers starting on opening day.

So because he is young he will be bullied ?

How many Epl defenders have bullied Gabriel Jesus or rashford due to their small stature and they are still very young ?

I will wait till our first match of AFCON to form an opinion. While they may look good on paper, their performance in a real, competitive match is the major decider of quality

Please can you name some exceptional strikers Nigeria has had in the past?

There's something I'm trying to figure out.

Transfer: Super Eagles forward to cost top European clubs €63million.

By Ifreke Inyang

Villarreal have slapped a €63million price tag on Samuel Chukwueze, L’Equipe reports.

Liverpool and other top European clubs, have been recently linked with the player, who shone in LaLiga last season.

Chukwueze, 20, cost Villarreal only €500,000 when he joined them a season and half ago.

The Spanish club have a contract with the Super Eagles winger until 2023, but clubs who wish to sign him before then, will have to splash out €63million, which is the release clause on his contract.

Chukwueze scored eight goals and provided three assists in 38 matches in all competitions in 2019/2020 campaing.

I don't see this boy going anywhere this season. For those clubs that may still be willing to take a huge gamble, they will probably wait till after AFCON
