Catch them young.

Hmmm! I suggested having regional under age competitions sometimes ago, I never knew something of that nature is already on ground. Kudos to NFF.

The bolded sha grin

Na u dey cause am nah, U and BascoVanVeli too dey defend the team instead of pointing out their errors. Nothing wrong with seeing the positives, as u always do, but learn to balance things by also pointing out their short comings. After everything u lot said when we couldn't convince before the world cup, we still got mauled, right before our very eyes, we are once again treading same path now, yet u want Chriskels to keep mute and watch things go wrong?

Hmm odikwa egwu ooo

"We are not scared of France," says Ordega. "I like challenges. We went to France last April and the result was pretty bad but that's football.
"We went to Germany in 2011 and lost 8-0 in the preparation for that tournament but in the actual World Cup they struggled to score against us. We know France are a good team though."
Team-mate Oshoala added: "You can't beat my country 8-0 and come back and do it again. No way!
"We have to go all out against them. We want them to know that was just a mistake. We have to return our image. It will be an interesting game."

Lets wait till then. I wish them all the very best

Truth be told we don't stand a chance. France -2 handicap is a safe bet.

This formation needs the right personnels to execute it.

Ogu should be removed for Balogun (heard he was sick)

Collins should be replaced by Aina and Chukwueze for Musa.

We can retain the mildfield we used during the world cup by replacing Iwobi with Etebo then we are good to go.

However, in a 4-3-3 formation, Aina, Ekong, Balogun/Omeruo and Collins should lead the defence with Akpeyi as the keeper. While, Mikel, Etebo and Ndidi should lead the mildfield. Then, Ighalo, Kalu and Ahmed be allowed to lead the attack.

oil dey your head

but i disagree with you about etebo

Race for best finishers

24 teams - 16 movers = 8 contenders

Thailand is out
Jamaica is out
Cameroon is out
South Korea is out
South Africa is out

We have to worry about Chile, Japan, Argentina, China

If you want to play Chukwueze as a false 9 he will be most effective from the Right of the attack.

None of those 5 teams you listed as being "out" are actually out.

While Likes of Thailand, Jamaica, and South Korea need a miracle to qualify, likes of Cameroon and South Africa may just qualify if they win by 2 or 3 nil.

Nigeria have a good chance and MAY still qualify even if we lose to France. Provided it is by a very slim mergine. Like 1:0, 2:1, 3:2, 4:3 etc

Yeah the strategy should be to remain compact. We cannot compete with the French blow for blow else we will suffer a heavy defeat.

We remain compact and hit them on the counter. And we must be very clinical because be sure that the chances will be few.

As it is there are 2 currently 3rd placed teams that have 0points and with very negative goals difference. The best they can get is 3pts which we already have. So if we can make sure our goals difference does not drop below those of those other 2 teams then we are home and dry. Which is the idea of the slim defeat even if we lose.

South Africa are not Mathematically out even though beating German will be difficult. If Cameroon can beat New Zealand by 2 or 3 Nil they stand a chance.

Cowards die many times before their deaths indeed.

Bros, this is women football. Any team can beat any team on any given day!
And besides this German team isn't even that strong either.

Make Cameroon and new Zealand play draw abeg. So that even if we lose 8 to nil against France, we could stay qualify.

Team USA probably not, but France is definitely beatable. The Falcons may surprise you today if the team can cut down on all those unnecessary elementary school errors they tend to make.

A team that can't string three passes together can beat France grin

Our pass accuracy was 66% against Korea, I don't think I've ever watched a match with a low pass accuracy
