That is why I said that those Keshi's guys were nowhere as good as the players we have today bar Mikel (who has understandably regressed due to age)

Thats why I conveniently listed the players from the two teams and let him compare....lol.

You can he personally dislike Keshi.. Its written all over his comments. And , you cant trust such a man to make an unbiased statement. Time to ignore emotionally laden ones.

Physically the Cameroonians came out tops with high ball....we are stronger than South Africans....

Watching our last goal against Cameroon....i like the way the trio of Ighalo,Chukwueze and Etebo charged down Cameroonians defenders...they made a mistake...haha...and paased to Etebo who quickly for Ighalo....the rest is....

And people say Rohr doesn't have tactics. He clearly called for high press and it worked.

Compared to the 2013 team, they are significantly better.

However, compared to other teams like Brazil, Croatia, Netherlands etc, they are average

We lost two matches in WC 2018. That is a Major difference
grin Minor difference is that We had to win(the only game) in 2014 based on bad ref call?

You need very good passers to pull that off. We only have one attacking FB available at the moment. We don't have the luxury to try that out.

We had a goal wrongly disallowed against Iran which would have most likely won us the game and another one against France.

Keita was at 50% fitness and was not at his best

Guinea as a team were quite crappy at this AFCON

Our first real test was against Madagascar and we failed but we can take learning points from it

And I applaud our performance against Cameroon. We tried but I won't advice going behind again before playing well. It may not work against SA

I'm sure you wouldn't be saying that our first real test was against Madagascar had we won that game. Just the same way the Guinea game would have been our first real test if we had lost against them.

A test is a test when you go a goal down..No...2 goals down and you try to win or at least draw

i think you are the one being emotional and sentimental which have beclouded your sense of reasoning.

i am not a sentimental person but one who is very blunt and say things the way i see them.

i was one of keshi's biggest fan and clamored for him becoming our next coach after 2010 world cup but as time went by i found out he was a joke and very corrupt as well.

the teams experience with keshi and oliseh made be never to support the hiring of our local coaches anymore.

keshi did more bad to our football than good

The goal against Bosnia could have been ruled out due to Emenike's shoving the defender that he for the ball from.

If memory serves me right, that call was right

All these guys that are just making light of the efforts of the super Eagles, saying that SA is this, SA is that, as if SA is a Brazil that we don't know about.

If Egypt had taken their chances, I'm sure you won't be saying all this about SA.

If SA is that fantastic, why were they struggling in the group stage and they had to wait till the last day to qualify. for the next stage.

Like what is wrong with you people gan gan. what do you guys want?

Before the Cameroon game , people were saying, it is our first real test, we beat them, now you are saying SA is our first real test. The same SA that could have been down by 2 or 3 goals against Egypt, no thanks to the wasteful Trezeguet.

It seems a lot of people want to see the team fail, just because of Onyekuru and Osimhen issue with the coach
the most shocking thing is them saying we use luck to beat Cameroon, did someone tell Cameroon not to get lucky? This pull him down attitude stinks

i was among those who hated adebayo so much when he had issues with keshi which was related to the latter's involvement in players racketing in togolese team and forced adebayo to sign with his management team which raised a lot of dust in the team and the main reason why he was sacked by the togolese FA.

i never believed adebayo's claims until keshi took over the super eagles

Winning AFCON and getting to the second round of WC are net positives for me.

sure it was positives because such feat have not been achieved in our footballing history until keshi came. it was this same mentality that made him a demi god who became untouchable which backfired so bad on our football until rohr took charge.

when keshi left the super eagles post why didn't he get hired immediately before his untimely death?
